  1. Some of the more common names were going for a few thousand. It's crazy how expensive some plates are, but I guess you can keep them forever and may be able to sell them on for more.

  5. My new plate is PA03 DDY, which I like a lot... Some may think it's chavvy, but each to their own I guess.

  7. I've been bought one for my birthday which has my name in it. I agree with Dave though that it looks shite if you try to use numbers as letters... A and 4 look ok, but I'd never think that 15 was an H and I assume all the S11's have been bought by other Shaun's?
  8. Mines set at 6600 and I rarely see it tbh... But after 1st gear you're pretty much breaking any speed limit if you see it flashing!

  10. Put it another way... If it was a 276 from 2004 which hadn't been registered until 2008, would you be willing to pay £12.5k for it? I think not, so you shouldn't accept it for a 296 however good it is. An HR however is worth that much.
  11. Hi mate, the one that you bought did have the motor attached and also a wiring tail and connector to hook up to the loom. Alex. I'm prepared to be proven wrong Alex and would never usually question your Zed knowledge, but there was no motor on that cubby... The wires on that particular model are for turning the satnav on and off when the door is opened and closed. There was no way to wire it up so that the door opened and closed like in Dave's video. I may well have been having a special moment though!
  12. The reason I ask is that I recently bought a "motorised" cubby, which didn't actually come with a motor. Are the ones than you and Bullet have the Japanese versions?
  13. When you say, didn't get the wiring, have you got the motor and circuit to operate the open/close function?
  14. I paid £9k for my Dec 2006 registered 296 with 38k on the clock... no way that is worth £3.5k more! Walkies!

    You're not alone. Maybe it'll grow on me, but not loving it... To me a Ferarri should be simple yet elegant and leave the fussy shouty designs to others. I'm probably just getting old...

  21. The fuel reg is this part (Not my car btw): The noise doesn't seem to be coming from here, more like under the plenum? Would this be where you'd expect the noise to be if it was the fuel reg? Thanks for you help guys, really appreciate it as always! I'm going to Abbey in a few weeks, so I'll see if they can look at it unless someone thinks this is life threatening? I assume if it's the fuel reg, that it's not an urgent fix?
