Hi all, another update on this project and some belated snow pictures. First up the MR2 and Zed in the snow. The tread pattern of the new Vreds Next up I got some ING style sideskirts dirt cheap on eBay, they need some prep work to fix up and get right but overall they're in good condition and will be on before japfest Next up I wanted to get some extra noise out the zed So out with the airbox: To be replaced with this: 30 mins later i had it all fitted Like most i've not really noticed any performance differences but the noise is definitely better/louder without being over the top, it also looks much better under the hood. I use sand in my tropical aquarium, i think it's called Silver sand. It's easy to clean, though it's not as fine as say sandy beach sand. It does have some grit in it but looks so much better and easier to fit ornaments in and hold plants as it's got some weight in mass. It's just the front where the bed meets the glass sometimes over time it builds up algae but a quick shift and it's clean again.

Yeah you want an av receiver with HDMI inputs not optical, as then your video and audio is hd and can transmit via the same cable. You'll also want a 3D hd receiver if you want to play with full 3D sound as well as visuals. I'm in the same boat, got Apple TV, sky hd, Xbox and 3d blu ray so looking for a box that will take at least 5hdmi inputs and then everything outputs to the tv/surround sound. Looking at the onkyo but haven't had time to properly test, your best bet is visit a proper hifi shop to see/hear them in action. Though your sound will only be as good as your speakers (to a certain extent).

Attempted to get to work today but every route out of Salisbury has a hill and had to get towed twice and pushed once so gave up and went home after almost 3 hours of clutch and tyre burning. Never again! Fortunately most the other managers and directors didn't make it either and half the workforce, so remote login from home came in handy and we shut office at 3pm to let staff make it home before dark.

Ok small update, was getting tired of my leather gear gaitor which had a few marks and a slight tear where it meets my knob....oooeeeerrrrrr...ummm So got a new Alacantra one with stiched orange thread...looks rather smart I think, it came with a handbrake gaitor too but not sure about it yet as the gap for the handbrake is rather tight. By far the easiest mod i've ever done and one you can actually see most of the time. That's all for now...

I got vreds recently but as you have them already the only real upgrade would be michelins. But £££'s. Falken 452's? Or find some part worns on eBay? Might be your best bet.

If the CEL came back on it will give you a code via a series of flashes. Find the code and it'll tell what's wrong, as you suggested might be the decats.

Yep pedal dance or battery disconnect should clear the codes.

I recently did my plugs and when we put it all back together we'd crossed the one at the back with the middle one on the rut side (inlet pipe side) thus causing a misfire. Simply swap them back over and all good, I suspect the very same. I also had a bit of oil, this is fine, so long as they are not covered in thick oil.
