I would say the company pays poorly for the role, I am doing now (I was approached a month or so ago for a very similar role that is paying over 25% more) In that case find another job, and once accepted you have the playing cards in your hands to go back to your current employer and show them that you've been offered the same job with a higher salary and put the ball in their court, it's risky but could pay off but ultimately you've got a backup plan.

Also not to forget the tax free earnings limit went up last month to £9k something so you should be taking home a bit more month on month this year as well.

My view, as s department manager and involved in regular management meetings to discuss staff pay etc is that you've done alright. The 3% rise was likely to boost moral and get more productivity which has paid off. You've received a bonus, what % of your earnings was your bonus if you don't mind? and a 2.5% increase is a sizeable amount in this climate. Many don't get a rise for years. You've had a payrise in 1 year, a bonus and another rise in year 2...count yourself very lucky. I too am in a similar boat though, joined, got promoted, 3 payrises and very healthy end of year bonuses plus loads of social perks and extravagant parties...but i'm wholefully grateful for it considering the economic times we're in I am privileged, especially considering i'm only 27 and about 10 years ahead of my career progression considering the types of projects I get to work on. If you really feel that hard done by, and i'd only measure that by how much you've contributed to the company, then set a meeting with your boss or HR manager to discuss. But don't go in guns blazing, have a strategic approach, present your case, with evidence and negotiate it...what have you done for the company, what do you intend to do to take it forward. The fact your've been promoted means they trust and believe in you, so prove it and earn that extra .5%. Just my opinion.

OK, got the system bled at the weekend. Went through 2.5 bottles of fresh RBF600 using the pumping the pedal technique keeping the nipple open. The rear lines were definitely bad, the fluid was brown and even had a few bits in it with some air, clear sign of boiled fluid. However got the car back on the ground drove away and the pedal felt as soft as butter. Back up she went for another round of bleeding (Just as well I had spare fluid) this time did the old school way, open the nipple, press, close, release on all 8.Pedal feels much better now with much better direct force on the brakes. I'm not as confident with the yellowstuff pads, they're great on the road but will likely be upgrading to DS2500's soon along with new front tyres as they are starting to loose grip under heavy braking. I do have a question though about the bleeding process, is the best method the open, press, close, release? I'm just a little concerned as to why the other attempts didn't work and wondering whether the master cylinder could have an internal leak - is there a more efficient way to test this?

I have this exact setup, have done for almost a year now...it's a great fitment and look, I had to get Eibach rear camber arms and bolts to adjust the rear and bring it all back in as the inner walls were running quite low. The only thing I would say, since being on track is the rear can be a bit bouncy - i'm now looking to upgrade to coilovers soon

Cool, no worries. The best place for the bolt kit is the same guy that made your panel via eBay. D1 spec for me, was about £21 of eBay, slightly different purple...marginal difference in performance, if anything a slightly smoother idle.

But theres more... Got the INGS sideskirts repaired, prepped and painted. Install was pretty easy, had to drill a couple of points to pull it in but overall the fitment is spot on and looks the nuts, I think. Finally found a grounding kit in purple So got that fitted. Next up was to re-tint the front windows darker as the original tint was starting to peel a little. Then a good clean
