Depends how much crap in their, if there's loads of oil and stuff a) i'd be worried about the functionality of the filter and i'd use something a bit tougher. But for general quick cleans and getting rid of any tiny bits of debris, fluff and grime etc the contact cleaner will do the job.

Did mine recently, I used electrical contact cleaner from maplins, just spray it on the little wires/capacitors and leave to air dry... Do not poke around inside what so ever, bit of cleaner and all good

They look like real CF to me, you can tell by the weave. The stoking ones are just plain, but you could add a Z badge to them

I had exactly the same conundrum recently as my rear re050's are shot. After a lot of research I opted for the ultrac sensata's based on feel, wet and dry grip and the aggressive tread pattern. The difference between them and the PSS is negligible and un noticeable in most conditions. The tread pattern was the final selling point for me.

We went last year, it's good. Lots of different marques and an opportunity to speak to suppliers about all sorts of modifications and extras. You won't find much JDM stuff but lots of manufactures, in particularly Uk ones where you can pick up all sorts of extras. I ordered by HEL brake lines from them for the MR2 at a bit of a discount. The auction was good last year, they had the Shelby Gt500 Eleanor for gone in 60 secs, went for silly money.

This is going to sound odd bt take it to Halfords auto centre on the Nuffield industrial estate. They are all good chaps and will look after you very well, cost effective and they know zed's as a few other local chaps go there. Any MOT or servicing stuff I take it to them, any modifications/fabrication I take to a friend in Gillingham.
