  1. Oh well if cost is no issue, then get a Kranzle. Just not the one Dan suggested... (only because I don't want him to be right all of the time ).
  2. That's not a Boxster, you fool! It's clearly a TT.
  3. LSP's have started to go on today... of sorts. I thought I'd do half the kick plate with HubiTrim and the other half with Trim Rejuvinator. Just because. The boot shut trims were given Trim Rejuvinator (just Trim Rejuvinator). The passenger side hasn't been done yet because there's a garage wall where the door needs to be. So that'll be done last. The interior was treated to AF Spritz and the seats were treated to a clean followed by Dr Beasley's Leather Lock. There's also an LSP on the boot lid. But before that went on, this happened; There's a plan for the rear bumper, side skirts & bonnet. There's half a plan for the front bumper. There's currently no plan for the roof, doors, front or rear wings nor the exhaust as it stands. There now follows a small delay whilst supplies are delivered - I went to order some more tape and got... "a bit carried away".
  4. I'll let others argue over which is better. As Stu said, the main difference between the two is the metal vs. plastic parts internals. However, I have a Nilfisk (C110) which is perfectly adequate and has so far lasted about 5 years or so. In terms of lances, they're all the same internally - the only two things that ever differ from one brand to another is the nozzle adjustment shape and/or colour and the shape of the bottle - so I'd always recommend going for the cheapest. The cheapest I know of id from Direct Hoses, whilst you're there treat yourself to a 15m quick release hose for you new pressure washer from there too. You'll thank me for it. Also, commit to a pressure washer before ordering the lance and/or hose; Karcher have two fitments depending on which model you go for, Nilfisk just use the one, not so sure about other brands.
  5. No idea about the light, but CMS do service packages.
  6. Also it also doesn't have to be someone involved in the (alleged) incident - anyone can report it and the police are then duty bound to "investigate" the matter (to some extent or another). The fact that BBC have publicly stated that there was abuse and a physical altercation is sufficient for the police to investigate whether it's worth pursuing. That's all they're doing at this point as far as I'm aware.
  7. Better to be on the safe and have a remote control override, drone style, back at HQ. With a back up drone pilot to monitor the drove pilot who's monitoring the three pilots in the plane, who is also being monitored, etc.
  8. GTechniq Crystal Serum is worth looking into too - it's approved detailer application only but worth the cost.
  9. There's a simple solution to this photon problem. Watch the screen from behind one of two slits. If you can't sleep, just change slits.
  10. Sky's coverage starts at 6.30am on the Sunday, the BBC starts at 7. I have no idea (or interest ) whether the BBC has any sort of introduction to the race planned but I suspect those times don't account for the clocks changing on Sunday morning.
  11. If you've got the room to store them, what's the harm in keeping them? I'd definitely sell the tyres though if you have no intention of using them, assuming you're not planning on selling the car with they Rays on next month or anything.
  12. It's a poor excuse at the best of times - it's been mentioned umpteen times in this thread already, a number of the controversies that followed Clarkson could easily have been avoided with a bit more editing. Granted that doesn't stop him being a tool in person though.
  13. Given that you want to keep the wheels, I'd just sell the tyres. Tyre lifespan in storage will depend on the conditions in which they're stored, but it theory anything up to 5 years as a rough guide. Why do you want to keep the wheels out of interest?
  14. There are easier ways to change the headlight bulbs, y'know?
  15. He must be lying, it was an electric shock. Sources have confirmed it. Alonso's just covering up for Ron because Facebook said so.
  16. Also The family package deal includes Dave. Dave only shows three programmes and two of those are Top Gear....
  17. You're only in control to an extent. If it's already gone wrong, it's possible you're just going to be a passenger anyway.
  18. Just noticed how many posts are in this thread now, so it seems a fitting time to (re)post this;
  19. Progress is being made. As are 50/50's because... well, that's what interwebs detailers do when machine polishing, right? Before; Then some polishing happened, followed by an Eraser wipe down. After; It's surprisingly difficult to operate both a Brinkmann and a camera well with just two hands, just FYI. This was after a couple of quick passes using as DA with Scholl S20 Blue on a crimson Lake Country Hydro Tech spot pad, which has left me with just the odd RDS in places;
  20. Is the number on the odometer of a car you don't know worth a grand to you? Is there anything wrong with your current car that'll cost a grand or more to fix? If the answer to either of these is yes, then there's your answer. If the answer to both is no, then there's your answer again.
