  1. BP has Nectar and Shell has its Drivers card - do they do enough? Do you accumulate points quickly enough? Is it just points or do you want something else?
  2. Just a few more... 1. What could petrol stations do better in terms of customer service? So, when filling up, paying, shopping, helping etc 2. What rewards should you get for using the same brand of petrol station for long periods of time, would you commit to using the same brand for say 3-6 months and putting in £x you got a decent reward over and above the rewards that are out there now? Cheers once again - Col
  3. I wonder what people would make of your Zed badge if Nissan entered, and performed well, in F1...
  4. Cheers for all of the above guys - helped get us back on track with some debate!
  5. Awesome thanks - free skyline rides in the bag! So is the perception generally that Shell top level (V Power Nitro) fuel is better than BP Ultimate ?
  6. Hi guys, As some of you know I am a researcher by trade, I am sat in a brainstorm for a client at this very minute discussing the issues of driving and fuel usage for people who drive a fair amount of miles for a living (delivery drivers, trades, sales execs etc if I were to generalise) - I would imagine there are some people on here that fall into that category? If you could answer a few questions (either post a reply here or PM me) 1. How far you drive per day on average as part of your job 2. What do you drive, what do you do 3. Best bit of about driving 4. Worst bits 5. Do you have admin to complete with your job 6. How many times do you fill up per week 7. Where else do you stop off during the day apart from a petrol station 8. Do you use the same place 9. Is filling up a pain 10. What is the biggest pain about filling up 11. Do you use BP, and if so what makes you come back 12. What would make you use BP more 13. What petrol station brand do you use most Clearly I will incentivise with free rides in the Skyline at any meets but any help greatly appreciated and going direct to a fuel companies strategy! Make a difference! Cheers VERY much in advance...any responses in the next hour would be great. Col

    Carbon Wrap?

Hexis and 3M are the top brands
  8. I read the thread - and was quite frankly astonished at how quickly it degenerated. Like you might expect in a prison and Angelina Jolie starts work as a warden or something. I simply posted this as a competition winning prize for some commenters on the thread...
  9. Leon Cupra X or S type Jag!
  10. Its a "ten second car" - alright thats 0-60 in ten seconds but still a ten second car Can't imagine it would qualify as fun?
  11. My neighbour had an 04 plate Mazda 6 Sport, just sold it for £2k with 80k on the clock and having helped him detail it a few times, was immaculate, not a spot of rust.
  12. Just turn the engine off on downhill bits - stop-start technology advanced Buy a newer Mazda? Get a 6 Sport? Meant to be fun?

    Advice

Buy a little MX5/MR2 for your commute then after three months turn them into your own track projects

    Advice

Well, there is also the issue of adding 8000 miles to your Zed in 3 months - depreciation as well as running costs and also with that sort of mileage does that bring forwards your service? Also you need to insure as a work use vehicle as well which is cost. For three months, maybe consider a small engined shed ? Then sell it?

    Tyre paint pen

Stick it on and show photos week by week - would love to see if this works as I think it would look good on my Falkens on my R33!
  18. Everyone looked down on my Vauxhall, then again it was only 111cms high...
  19. its Red and i like the wheels When I bought my wife a Ford Focus, she was adamant that she didnt want a silver one (the most readily available and best specced for the money) - when I pointed out that she wont be able to actually see the colour of the car most of the time as she would be inside it she agreed to forego the colour issue!
  20. Good luck - and stick around, plenty of past owners on here Unless of course you have bought a GT-R in which case you can get the feck out as that would not be fair
  21. Looks like a good buy for the money, only slightly more than my insurance for the R33!
