  1. Please don't encourage him Chris. He's bad enough without any help :)
  2. Sorry is this an offer for my plate???
  3. I don't know why but am not getting post updates. I have had this plate for 3 years now and its just doing nothing. I would hate for the brokers to end up selling it for double what they will give me. I would like to see it on a zed where it belongs.
  4. The gaiter in a zed is designed for the short OEM knob. If you exchange for a different knob and especially with a extension to the upright like I have, then you need to change the gaiter for a bigger one.
  5. i suffer it real bad but apparently I do not show it. I have done stupid things that I won't publicise. But tablets are not a cure as they don't get to the root. Counselling is very old fashioned and unless your on a 1-2-1 basis with a counsellor rarely works. I find for me that just cruising along late at night helps relax me or doing something I like. Each one of us is different and only we can find our own inner piece.
  6. I got a 600bhp heavy duty clutch from a guy on the USA 350.com sight. It cost me approx £300 which included postage and customs. I have a GTM and its absolutely fine. Never had a problem.
  7. Who are you? never heard of you or your silly car
  8. You can always donate it to the club
  9. Thanks Buster, I suppose that's the easiest thing to do. What's best to tint them with. ? Tint Paint lol !!!!
  10. Any pictures of the cup holders pls and where do they go in an HR? Ta

    Gear knob

I have a good condition OEM Anthracite one £50
  12. Reading this thread has reminded me I have 2 mint 6 button steering wheels to go in the for sale it.
  13. I doubt very much if you will get that repaired and sprayed for much under £300 - £350 as the corners need blending in. Hope this helps.
  14. Lee I am confused. When you refer to bases do you mean the seat frames or the bottom foam swab? To be honest F4ABP I like a challenge but its going to be to much hassle for you to do. I know they look nice and are different and having nice seats is a must, have a rethink. If your seats are bad or you fancy a change just stick some pictures up on this thread and we can bounce some ideas around for you. Lee may have a nice set of R35's lol
  15. The seats normally have a zip round them as they are a leather cover that goes over a foam insert. However a lot of glue is used on the base swab. Nothing to stop you taking them off and putting them on your old seats. Its a long boring stinky job and only worth it if you can get the new ones dirt cheap say £200 at most.
  16. I forgot all about this until DVLA reminded me. I just paid for another year and I am open to offers on this. If you look here they seem to want a lot more than I do http://www.plates4less.co.uk/PopupWindows/Enquiry_classified.asp?plate=GT58ZGT&style=C&UnderOffer=1 Any genuine offer considered. Thanks folks Peter
  17. No chance on a wet day with front wheel drive. Dry day will be close but zed will pump it. My mate has one mapped by dastek and I'm still faster without the nos. 280ps vxr 0.62 is 5.6. As i said of the line it should have the edge, rolling am not so sure. Ahh i'm forgetting you guys have the older slower zed The 300ps is 5.6 standard How o How old is yours Neilp?
  18. Agree. Unfortunately were stuck with it. CS AND TARMAC EH um what you just started lol
  19. Na, your right Graham. It appears that the original tune (from Abbey) compared to the new Hdev tune actually had more peak torque and more torque throughout the curve, especially low to mid range. It actually has the same power as well. Although the newer dyno plot shows more peak power, that's just because the revs are held a little higher. If you held the revs to the same point on the first dyno plot and continued the line it would reach the same level. I am in no way saying that the Hdev tune is inferior. If Pete was concerned about detonation and engine longevity then the sensible thing to do is to reduce the low to mid range torque as that's where these engines get damaged. So Jez has done the right thing for Pete with that in mind. Fantastic the way you explained it Sam. This is exactly what Jezz has done. Maybe I should have asked you to do my write up. Thanks Sam
  20. Pete, I don't see why it should be the end of the thread, Adrian made a point and you countered it as you disagreed. There is one thing, however, that does puzzle me and it's to do with the torque results from you car at HDEV. Now be patient with me you FI experts as I am no expert but Peter says Jez has got him some more torque but the torque figure has reduced from around 410 lb/ft to soemthing around 380 or so lb/ft now. To a simple soul as me that is a decrease not an increase, I'm confused , can someone explain please? No your fine Graham I I just don't want this made personal where one member starts throwing his powder puff at another The title says who is the best Abbey or H/Dev which has pitted 2 traders head on against each other. I could have sworn the Torque was up about 5 ft lol It confused me as Jezz was not there his collegue was. I was sure he said it was 400 were before it was 395 but thats my fault I did not check. Bottom line is Jezz had to reduce the power as car was detonating. Overall power is down deliberately to save my engine. But the way it feels after Jezz worked on it is sheer magic. The car has never ever felt this good. You can add when you have a go:)
  21. If that crome was blacked out it would be fine.
