  1. yep fits behind seats on shelf, got the best of both worlds now
  2. Ive been wrestling with those seats to get them in but finally managed it and also decided to fit an alarm and central locking which was a nightmare but happier its got something now instead of nothing ....pics to follow..... What im really excited about is a mod that im probably the only one with (I thought the modding would stop but couldn't pass this up), I get comments about my front bumper all the time as its some JDM unicorn stuff but this will take it to the next level Let me introduce you to the only targa top for a mx5 that is known ...over here anyway, its a bit beat up paint wise and seals need replacing which I have most already but nothing I cant fix/get and bring back to life, its structurally sound, no dents and looks oem and fits perfectly so some R&D has gone into this but has been sitting in someones garage for last 2 years ready to be restored, its another JDM mystery it seems
  3. just seeing if anyone has a spare or loose double din cage knocking about preferably in South London/Surrey area Thanks
  4. il have a dig around and let you know im sure i have one somewhere
  5. Congrats to you both...our little dip is all grown up !
  6. When this happened to me they were saying my mrs should get a years experience in smaller RWD car like mr2 or something before moving up. Essentially in there eyes they view it as its like going from a Micra to Ferrari so computer says no! Gone are the days with your average company where you can just insure whatever because you have the money I think
  7. sandwich plate is held on by internal nut which may have come lose, also thing on side is for temp sensor/pressure gauge possibly, unbolt it wrap bolt in ptfe tape and put back in, for the sandwich plate as mentioned remove everything redo and retighten but will require dropping oil so looks like an oil change is due soon also then
  8. I have these seats in my coupe, looking to sell maybe ,drop me a pm if interested
  9. I forgot about this will add mine later also
  10. Just a thought as im currently installing buckets in mazda myself and have same issue with the flared bit hitting door card and already dented mine! Might be a solution here one of the shoulder wings should be smaller than the other one (this is to apparently allow for easier gear change) Im going to look into this a bit but normally the drivers seat the inner left wing is smaller to allow for gear change, ive sat in both seats and doesnt bother me which seat it is for gear change so il mount the other seat on the drivers side with the smaller shoulder wing nearer the door card hopefully not smashing into it now hope that makes sense
  11. Thanks bud! Thats what I keep saying with every mod I do including the roll bar im considering now. I must say though modding the Mazda is a lot cheaper affair than the Zed luckily im pretty much complete on that front with zeditis
  12. I got this when I had the subaru they said I havent driven a 4WD car before so first year will be higher? it did go down a lot after that Yours is bit odd when mine happened it was about drive train they said I had exerience with FWD/RWD but not 4WD but you have plenty of experience with RWD so id maybe try and argue with them from that angle?
  13. My mate took my Mazda out the other night for a spirited drive and slipped off the edge of seat and banged his head on the inside window/hardtop Enter a set of Cobra Imolas (I test fitted them and they are more comfy than I imagined, although I looked like a complete knob trying to get out of them with one busted leg)! and I said I wouldnt do any mods to this one
  14. or its to turn reverse auto dipping mirrors on and off
  15. Not really done much as my leg is still on the mend, but managed to drop in my carbon front upper strut bar today...found it in the boot ...result! Also removed the big spoiler today to spray it gloss black to match car as its still in a dull base colour and next on the list is to remove the 16 year old Sony stereo with 10 disc changer
  16. while we are on this subject is a double deck one better or a single deck one?
  17. usually not fond of the bump in bonnet to fit Stillen as it stand outs too much howvever by the looks of it you have pulled that off very well
  18. I watch b is for build they have a g35 on it now some other good youtube channels there, actually prefer them to normal tv now! Also pop in on stevo d channel from time to time
  19. if your car was standard id say cut the hell out of it if its already interested you to do so, however with how your car looks now id leave well alone as it looks awesome as it is
  20. having done similar and played around with it, first problem is 370z bumper is wider, second is exhaust tail pipe holes will be jacked out of line if you cut bumper to size, the way I did it was cut relevant sections out of 370z bumper cut sections out of 350z bumper and bonded/rivoted/smoothed them together that way I still had oem fitment with look i wanted. However doing it this way will leave a 370z exhaust gap with a 350z exhaust, simple thing I did was cut and reweld tips to suit Thats my 2 cents anyway
  21. Yeah I was 50/50 with the wing but its actually growing on me and does suit the car,, in real life its not as big as you think which is good, but can take it off from the mounts (leaving mounts on boot) if I choose but not sure yet. Good to have the option though What do you reckon forum big wing or no big wing?
  22. Couple of more pics on this sunny day
  23. Thanks guys il get some more pics later on today as the sun is out, my mate took me out in it yesterday and he has fallen in love with it now and even tried offering his banged up land rover as a swap nippy little things on the revs though!
