some recommendations on some bits for s/c

Thanks Uncle Keyser and Scorps always got the knowledge. Il take my filter off bpv for now and see how much more noise I get, spring rates are already giving me a headache but will find out what i have then go from there but looking like a Tial swap over at some point. Thanks for link to MLR they are literally down the road from me so will just go and see them, im pretty sire i know the guy anyway. As for Ash hoses some extensive measuring is order then lol but really not happy with how little hose covers ends of connecting pipes theres barely room for the clip. Thanks guys -
So after 14 months out and learning to walk again after snapping my Achilles tendon clean in half, I am now back and ready to bring my zed back out for the summer. Done a bit of research but still a bit baffled: Silicone hoses for inter cooler piping have seen better days and are quite short and not much room for maneuver, they are fine but I would rather replace the lot but is there a replacement vortech hose kit? or am i going to have to buy a length and cut up to make my own? if so what hoses should I go for (obviously dont want to cheap out and have them split or bulge or explode) By pass valve - Mine is really quiet but has vortech filter over it will removing filter make much more noise? obviously im after whooshes lol mine does do it but ive heard some that are savage. Im confused with bypass valve as everything else is blow off valve, most common one i see is Tial (bloody expensive) but have no idea which model it is, are there any alternatives anyone has run in past or at the moment that works with Vortech? and will it effect performance over my current vortech bpv Also any good recommendations for places that will machine AN fittings onto cut a set length of braided hose. Ive been a bit off the scene so hard getting back into all the research bits but must say really excited to have the zed back (my mates been looking after it in his garage all this time) contemplated chucking it in recently for either a V10 M6 or Audi R8 but thought better of it for now and decided to keep the beast Any info or advice on above would be great

what about a s/c 350z pick up? you can hack mine up for your car any day but others are on the right track i guess, with all the other toys you have to play with, but if nothing floats your boat keep hold of it I say for a little while longer and try to use it more if can, even with the wrap issues its still one of the meanest 370's ive seen, if its going to sit maybe shift it and lay in wait -
Also a big thanks to WIll and all hes done on the forum

Any difference between the DE and HR mid pipe and back box exhausts?
jumping350 replied to arif_manji's topic in Exhaust
as stated above see one of traders on here, Nissan are ridiculous and it will only rust again later, you wont be disappointed with an upgrade for much less than paying over the odds for what you already have -
have they been bled in the right order? did the brake resevoir go empty?
-
probably no help to you now but I have a microwave sensor on my alarm and ive watched the cats tiptoe up the bonnet only to get up the windscreen to the roof and get a nice loud warning siren which they promptly jump off at this point they have got round this a couple of times though

Quackshot was awesome!! I've got the music in my head now.... I'm gonna burn it to a CD or get it as an MP3 and play it in my Z full blast windows down while driving round Manchester city centre on a busy warm night for all the club leavers to hear!! It always had catchy tunes in the game. Funny thing is I still havent completed it even remember where I got stuck its the level where the whales pop out of the gap and try to bite you -

I totally forgot about Jap imports!!!! Yep we were the kings of the megadrive world back then, can play any region game so never mattered which ones we bought except all the writing was in japanese so no one ever knew what the F was going on -

Love all these spent many late nights as a youth round my mates playing all these making noise and annoying the neighbours especially with Goldeneye. Quite a few years ago now but my mate and me went hunting round the bootsales and got a n64, snes, nes and a master system. Ive still got my old megadrive (jap import version just like the zed ) my favourite game QuackShot -
cable tie it to mesh? or possibly get some sort of bracket bolted to front crash bar and poke through mesh
-
Not to everyones specs or taste but I recently got a hero sessions 4 which I mounted between the seats and just run a longer cable to my power bank to keep it on with 64mb sd card set on loop and remote to control... ive caught loads of utter t**s already on it from one week!! Good thing is it comes out easy enough but hidden well enough between seats if left in car but no drama for me putting it in and out of car when needed but some people may find that annoying
-
that looks savage but i follow the theme of 'loud pipes saves lives' its about the only justification you can have for having something so loud to your neighbours
