  1. I for sure believe the width of the OEM 18's is not enough and you can get a fair amount of wheelspin quite easily. Width is for sure needed when I upgrade. (Got my eye on these bad boys - only 25 will be made direct from manufacture in this colour - the Black Chrome me is thinking ) ooo i like the chrome ones .on oem my slip light was on constant with me,i kind of meant if he were opting against Rota 18s for the same reason
  2. ive got 18inch Rotas and love them slip light never comes on even in the rain with me since i got them, but your wheel spin issues might be more tyre related then wheel related
  3. mines a bit clunky but not very noticeable i love the sound of (i think) the fans turning off sounds like an aeroplane shutting down
  4. right now i envy you UK owners a bit more now you got a clock...fair enough!!
  5. turned up to work an hour early today
  6. I can only agree with the others im afraid as a young guy, single on his own with a mortgage and a ZED you will have to compromise the only way i can do it is because i earned crap loads as an athlete (despite numerous people advising me against my dream, i opted for a deposit on a flat and not to live out of a Ferrari i was gutted though!!) Unless you can put a massive deposit down and reduce your monthly outgoings it will be extremely tough..like they sid take your mortgage and double it and not mention unforseen expenses......house or car its decision time...id keep the zed and use your new good income to save for a deposit...im not at home much cos of work so my flat is basic apart from my gadgets havent been on holiday for over decade (get flown all over for work but no holiday) its sacrifice time in order to keep the zed so weigh out your options and desires and pick the best that suits you everyones different and everyone aspires for something in particular.
  7. Ah thats what i was told they were, they must be what you stated handy to know il jot that down pic below

  12. thats what i thought been on for a year and had no problems with any of the tyres till that day i dont believe they are polished dont look it there is kerbing on that wheel but its on the outer face and no dents or chunks missing and some sort of black gunk on there now after they put tyre back on and reinflated looks like they have done something.# its up now and been that way since monday so maybe just a con from garage to get £13 out of me??
  13. I dont get it either or user control panel i get everything else though...someone ring HTC up
  14. i was gonna say they looked shorter than the original good luck with KR from reading from that skyline forum they seem to be a bit harsh when dealing with refunds/exchanges and assure you they have had no complaints and it must not have been fit right. but persist as to me it looked like it would never fit in the first place!! If you manage to return them ok ive got a set of replica nismo skirts brand new and unfitted...of course i will be measuring them now but worth a go if you cant find any....
  15. Im a semi pro basketball player and a high jumper (Used to be GB rep not so long ago too
  16. Hi all, My tyre went flat yesterday thought i had a nail in it,took it to local place they said tyre is fine your rim is corroding ive got Rota GTRs apart from light kerbing...from previous owner the wheels look spot on no signs of anything that slighlty alarmed me but guy said its treatable happpens to all wheels and theres no issue with it How do the rims corrode on the inside then and not the outside?? and how bad is it??just wondering
  17. i have to scissor jack it up and then trolley jack bit long winded and yes annoying but beats doing make shift ramp which knowing me would collapse when i drive on it plus cant hurt having two jacks and axle stands supporting one end!! least your safeguarded then, i would never even attempt going up one of those halford jobby ramps what about these?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/kwiklift-car- ... 27bf6f300f or this if you got big garden maybe??over budget but a bargain http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-POSTER-CAR- ... 2568cafbf6

  19. How funny i had a flat tyre today out of nowhere!!no nail in it or nothing, i havent got brembos but my space saver had a hole for that thing you removed in above pic!!i had worse probs than that though my tuner nuts needed 15" socket, Z standard is 17 i think?? went to honda across the road asked for ratchet they said is it a honda?? i replied no but it was made in the same country i sat for 20mins in reception then got bored and walked into mechanics bit and asked them!!

  23. wow wish i could put the zed away but like some others i am a londoner this will be my third winter of having the zed out my mates think im mad il go out when others wont even dare to take there scoobys out!!Unfortunately due to work i dont have a choice but to take it!!spent 4 hours last year edging my car down a hill covered in snow where the gritters miscommunicated and took the road closed sign down!!driving past a whole pile up of brand new st's and bmw's and all the neighbours (one of which bought me a cup of tea during my trauma!the whole road was guiding me down ) those cars have lost traction and slid into the back of parked cars was bad thought i would be next! Believe it or not survived two bad snowy winters and stacked my car in the rain in february!! Ive become a much better driver for driving in the winter i think scary but learn how your car reacts when it really goes!!brakes and tyres take a pounding speaking of which everyone talks about smaller winter wheels, shall i keep the rotas on with wide tyres on which has never put my traction control on in a year in any weather (not been in snow)or go switch my 17 jdms (Bridgetones)back on which can bring my TCS in on a 28 degree sunny day?????? Dont want to be gritted! park down a side road (they wont go down it) put shuvvel in boot...id rather dig the zed out than clean grit off without scratching like in that pic
