  1. Doesn't sound too good mate, at least it is under warranty
  2. Could have been a lot worse mate I guess..... Top Man that cloaked wonder Just thought.... you can't blame Joy for this one
  3. Longtube headers? I saw a youtube header once, it was from about 30 yards
  4. If I could gain 1bhp per hour on my car I wouldn't mind spending a month on it. I don't think it quite works like that Darren-B fitted his S/C in a couple of days that has to rank amongst the best hours vs gains
  5. Well you can get 10-12 bhp from a K&N apparently
  6. Can you guys please help build a bridge from Gravesend to Tilbury so I can drive over to work without using the QEII
  7. They are one of the better n/a gainers but £ for £ they are expensive +1 My car gained 12 hp untuned with them True but 10-12 hours labour alone for 12bhp
  8. I think we have all missed the most obvious solution...... PM GT4Zed..... Bennett is the forum expert on changing spark plugs :no1:
  9. Basically does bugger all unless you are FI too doesn't it....
  10. Why does this thread make me think of Pappa Smurf Zeditis is a terrible thing...... for the bank balance
  11. Changed it once. Some people are easily confused
  12. Hope it all works out ok, must have been a nightmare recently with the lovely weather
  13. You could try Wasso on here, he is based in the Midlands but travels
  14. If any thread ever deserved spamming it's this one
  15. Only met him briefly at the last PS meet, get well soon Dave
  16. At least it is a simple fix then
  17. I would personally leave them till the next service is due, you could always buy the plugs now and then get them fitted at the service therefore spreading the cost (I should be a financial advisor) If the car is running fine then why change them just for the sake of it
  18. Hope the Chemo goes well Dave, having had it myself I know just what your going through, thoughts with you and your family and a speedy recovery
  19. Ouch! Just about the worst thing it could be then, shame they are not recognising it I just had new injectors and coil packs all round fitted FOC on my Leon I think that was around £1,500 of work according to them At least if you drive the Juke you will feel at home as doesn't it have the same steering wheel as the 370?
  20. viewtopic.php?f=166&t=55020 Fitting shouldn't be much, you could probably do it yourself. I fitted mine myself, jack the car up onto axle stands and its a half hour job, it comes in pieces but you can put 90% of it together before you get under the car. The only issue I had was it attached via bolts to a hard plastic beam and the original bolts had rusted away and snapped off, probably why my oem tray hung low.... All I had to do was drill a couple of small holes in the Zspeed and screw it into the plastic strut which is hollow anyway Basically what I am saying is, if I can fit it then anyone can
  21. Very well put Graham and I echo your sentiments.... However I now have this song in my head
