  1. And I always thought your username meant you were a keen fisherman Listened to the stuff on the website
  2. It's the little things like him trying to put the alarm in his pocket at the end....
  3. Yep can be a scary time but... Last 3 years I have MOT'd the Zed.... 2011 - 97,985 Miles 2010 - 84,004 Miles 2009 - 68,946 Miles Work required so far zero not even an advisory, the only comment has been that my braided brake cable is possibly a little too long and should be secured Will be scary come August this year, I should be on about 107,000 by then, can I make it 4 in a row
  4. +1 unless you have one of these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFoUL_bIotw
  5. I always sing chocolate gateau to Elvis if I hear it
  6. + you have to factor in at least £1,000 to even make it sound like a 350z
  7. Haha I was taken led around the Welsh backroads by some pensioners in May Also you are a woman it was only a matter of time until you realised I am always right
  8. I can see both Ricey & Sparky's views on the 370z. I have thought about upgrading but is it enough of a change, yes the interior is nicer and it has a bit more power but I am definitely not sold on the looks or the driving experience...
  9. Stock wheels fetch very little. We all know that isn't true Ricey, stock 18's are worth hundreds of pounds, probably even more than the Rays. I have a set for sale as it goes I will give you £50 and use them as winter wheels £60 if they have tyres
  10. Not a fan then I have to say I have an Android tablet and if I had to rely on it as a phone it would end up in a million pieces
  11. Definitely take the Zed then as you can throw it around and pay the fines if you get caught
  12. well I didn't actually mean Grey but Silver Grey metallic its called quartz - and its a looverrly colour that would be my choice It's grey
  13. And that runs the battery down no doubt which would turn it off anyway
  14. Wow looking at those prices I need to employ a security guard to watch my garage
  15. I was and still am a Mod at heart, a Rude Boy also I had you down as the "rocker" type I love a bit of rock too I am just unique
  16. Rich you HAVE to join Mumsnet.... I can hear the flames from here
  17. The trip in a diesel Evoque will surely be more luxurious but I don't think I would want to throw it round those Welsh back roads Is it a convertible Evoque? If not that would be a point in your favour
  18. Total wrong end of stick.... as said above get whatever you want done BEFORE the remap otherwise you will be to and from like a yoyo Another thing to consider is insurance, make sure you declare everything, a good idea to ask them first what you can and can't do.... especially given your age
  19. Is it me or is one of the major selling points (i.e. in the advert) that it turns itself off when you fall asleep I am pretty sure every mobile phone I have ever had did this...
  20. He is the man of the house, you should therefore be grateful he is taking you on the trip in his new car and start packing for him Alternatively remove all marital priviledges until he agrees to let you take the Zed  Mumsnet FTW although I limit my time there now I found this forum
  21. I was and still am a Mod at heart, a Rude Boy also
  22. Nope GT pack was extra and Rays were extra although I think later on they became one in the same I have read.... I think
  23. Just go back and preview the thread and you will see if you posted or not Some pesky bit of SQL somewhere looping around checking something it doesn't need to I have almost the same thing at work, each night I have to move over 1,000 orders which have up to 8 different order numbers associated to them. All other depots just move maybe 50 orders and they move each individual order by order number and it is instant. At my depot we move everything as we are trialing new software to maximise vehicle utilisation and we have to move the actual order, this is sometimes instant and sometimes takes 3/4 minutes which if you work it out would take forever Flagged it to IT and they said 'well use the order numbers and it will be instant' no $hit sherlock but then I will have up to 8,000 to move 'erm.... ok well we will look into it then' turns out it is an indexing problem, when you don't enter the order number the system looks through EVERY order to find corresponding ones so hopefully a quick fix OK wake up now it was in interesting story I thought
