  1. Fair play for posting all that up, just shows what can happen if you are not careful.... expensive lesson but the results are looking good What happens about the cat of the car now if you have not claimed or reported anything? If you don't tell your insurance about the repairs is your policy basically worthless
  2. Not even an offer to come and give me a rub down or walk on my back in your kitten heels? That's a brave thing to say to SMD - the doorbell will be ringing soon I prefer to knock on the back door... O Dave please its only lunchtime!!!
  3. Yeah Dan that is the response from a lot of people but if everything was neat and tidy and all new members just searched and didn't askthe age old questions then this place would be a dry as a nuns tit...
  4. I would compare it to the debate over real and fake boobes... At the end of the day both are fun, look great very easy on the eye and hopefully don't affect handling too much. There will of course be sone difference in movement between the two types and maybe some minor differences in finishing... As for bodykits unfortunately I have less experience in that area...
  5. the join date only affects those members who were here for the testing. Yeah I noticed.... Is there going to be anyway of changing them back?

  7. + loads It's easy to say use the search blah blah blah but then this place would get atale pretty quickly..... I for one like to keep going over the same old subjects over and over again and I bet I am not alone....
  8. Using your logic there, that would have been an epic fail for me as ive absolutely no idea what N17 FTW means. In fact I wouldnt even realise it was a "private plate". I would have probably have puzzled over it a little as thats a 1996 (ish) number plate which is older than a zed, so I would have scratched my brain for a bit then given up on it and maybe just assumed it was your initials. No problem but my logic is sound because it doesn't pretend to 'mean' anything just hides the year.... but it means somethinv to me Better than spending £10k on DAV3 1 or something stupid like that....
  9. Not even an offer to come and give me a rub down or walk on my back in your kitten heels? Ok Woman Up
  10. Are like all other women. Scary and unapproachable. But that may be something to do with me I travelled Europe in the late 90's and found them VERY approachable.... And that accent
  11. I know the wheels are interchangable so don't see why not but don't take my word for it
  12. The smileys are still the same so must have been the transfer.... There are still a few glitches here and there like the member join dates i.e. Mike has over 25k posts since June
  13. I dunno... Sounds like a win/win to me, unless pants are optional of course My personal rule is... If it takes more that a couple of seconds to work out = fail Best thing is it hides the age of the car as mine is an old girl who has been around the block a few times... Just need a private plate for the missus now :fight:
  14. My thoughts exactly, If I couldn't afford to drive it everywhere I would sell up tomorrow... Personally I can't see why people wrap their Zed up over the winter, it is fantastic driving in cold conditions, as the car is NA it breathes so much better on a winters day and you learn a lot more about the handling of the car than you will any other time of the year.... Each to their own though
  15. I can get over 40mpg if I reset the trip computer on a long run but I would call BS on anything north of around 35mpg....
  16. Sounds about right to me If I am careful I can get 30mpg on my commute to work at night...... But then I usually get about 21mpg on my way home in the morning
  17. I did 22k in the first year I had my Zed Makes me chuckle when I see posts from people who have done less than that in 5/6 years but are 'experts' on everything Zed related
  18. Just keep it for when the car goes..... It is complete and utter cack of the highest order
  19. Just drill into the bottom of the cubby and when you remove it put the little rubber mat over the holes
