    Heating

Right so it's not a zed thing, cool, I'll try the topping the rad up and bleeding out any air and see if that helps. Thanks for the reply guys.

    Heating

How are we all doing? Hope your new year has been good so far. I have a question and I'm not sure if it's a design flaw or there's something wrong with my z. But it's the heating, when I am stationary or driving at traffic jam pace my heating goes cold but when I get moving at normal speeds the heating heats up again. Now I've checked my partner's Audi A1 and a few other friend's cars and their heating is warm evening stationary. So I'm not sure if there's something wrong or just a z thing. Can someone shed some light on this? Cheers
  3. It's so true, I've never driven so slow in my life, shifting before 2k, looking for police constantly and not even flooring it to overtake. Streessssssssss..lol
  4. Hey guys, thought I would mention something about having a back box delete done to your car...don't. The noise level becomes unbearable, I have standard cats with an aftermarket y pipe (not sure of the company as it was on there when I bought the z) and a back box delete. The noise level sounds good when your idling and before 2k. After that there's just no point in flooring it because it's deafening to not only yourself but others around you. Only after a few days i am now going back to have some sort of silencer fitted somewhere along the system to bring it down a bit. Watching YouTube videos and hearing straight through systems doesn't justify the noise level in person. So beware, anyone is who thinking of doing it, please reconsider for your own sanity and wallet.
  5. Great thanks for the reply guys
  6. Hi guys, after trawling the exhaust section and spending about 2 hours reading through the different exhaust topics I did a search on eBay and came up with this. Has anyone got any experience with these or if anyone has got one fitted to their Z? It looks pretty much exactly the same but without the Ark branding tag. I'm in the market for a new system now and don't really want to spend the 1k price tag I've been seeing for alot of the exhausts out there.
  7. I just made a youtube video on how to sort it out step by step since I couldn't find a single video on how to do it. Heres the link for anyone who is still having this issue, i just changed my clutch and flywheel and had the same problem. Your welcome
  8. zmanalex, I have ordered parts from the US before, I've never had the misfortune of receiving a faulty product so I've never had to deal with warrant claims no. I've just not come across the XTD brand before and was curious as to what their flywheels are like.
  9. hi guys, i saw this clutch and flywheel kit on ebay from a seller who ships from LA, USA. Was wondering if anyone knows much about these xtd flywheels or any suggestions about whether to stick to ordering from the UK. https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/112717317386?chn=ps&adgroupid=43920634520&rlsatarget=pla-359427365517&abcId=1063846&adtype=pla&merchantid=113618142&poi=&googleloc=9044936&device=c&campaignid=797602469&crdt=0 This is the kit in question, don't wana spend and end up with something dodgy. cheers

    N1 front lip

Hey guys, i ordered a front n1 lip from hz performance and it came all pre drilled where you need to put the screws in but im confused about something. It came with four metal brackets..two long ones and two short ones. Any idea what im supposed to be using them for?
  11. And forgot to mention they get shipped from california.
  12. Guys im in the same boat, the zeds lowered on tien springs. I went to get my wheels tracked the other day and was told the front camber needs adjusting but the standard camber arms are non adjustable. The rears need adjusting too. I looked around on ebay and spotted these but the price for both rear and fronts sounds abit too good to be true. Can someone advise me if these are worth goin for? Because i know front camber arms alone are over 200 quid. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Red-Front-Rear-Camber-Control-Arm-Adjustable-Kit-FITS-Nissan-350Z-G35-/232292052636?nav=SEARCH
  13. Hey guys My zeds developed a problem I've been having that issue of hearing a squeaking noise from under the car when pushing in the clutch after a few mintutes of driving for a while now. But in the last few days its got worse, now, not only does it squeak but it makes a weird creaking noise when lifting off it too and you can feel the clutch pedal travel isn't as smooth as it should be. That's problem 1, problem 2 is yesterday whilst driving back from Tesco, the clutch all of a sudden developed free play in it a quarter of the way down before meeting resistance and then engaging the clutch. Lifting of its the same, there's free play in the pedal and almost like a slight resistant which disappears and the free play continues until it actually meets resistance and works as it should. The biting point also changed when this happened, then after a while the resistance gradually comes back and the free play disappears all together. This happened twice yesterday, any ideas?
