  1. Talk Talk have been great for us
  2. How old is the car? If it's still in warranty I'd let Nissan have a go at it.
  3. Funny, most car journos can do it in a couple of hours. Did you drive your car for longer than a week before you decided to buy it then? He is not a car journalist though is he? Can you agree car journalists get it right every time as well? All I'm trying to get at is that you learn a car over time and there are things I would have discovered by now that I wouldn't have in my first week of ownership.
  4. Big Sleep?! More like the big brothel. You will catch something nasty from that place If you're really stuck mate you can always bung it next to my Zed and get a taxi into town (about £10 for a taxi). Like others have said you're a bit stuck when it comes to good parking with a nice hotel in Cardiff. Marriott has parking if I remember rightly and very central on Mill Lane.
  5. ...and you'd have to wonder how many of them have actually driven a Bugatti Veyron SS as well. In fairness I did make a post on the thread about his review, not that I care what kind of response it had but I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion, right? I must say though, 1 week is not enough time to form a well rounded review of a car, you have to learn it, understand it and he clearly didn't. He was banging on too much about his old TVR, I couldn't give a thank you Also with regards to his work colleagues comments, well I've never heard such rubbish. Yeah we have a chuckle about Datsuns but I've never heard it called a chav car, I didn't even have those comments when I used to drive Hondas and that scene is inundated with chavs. I can only conclude with this he works with an unfortunate bunch who only have German rep mobiles. There is a world outside of VAG and BMW.
  6. It does sound like a contact issue, failing that use some pillows and bits of 2x4 screwed to the pedals and jobs a good'un
  7. And I spent money on holidays instead of my car pics when you get them!
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NP6SWpn4x00 That's the corner in case anyone wants to see it. To be honest it looks like a bloody pothole, not good! I heard the pit stop is on a blind corner as well. I will never make it up in time to watch this race. Isn't it on at something like 6am?
  9. Wouldn't having bigger wheels with aggressive offsets have the same effect as spacers? The extra metal in the wheel to make it wider would also increase unsprung weight in the same manner as adding spacers. I would have assumed this as well.
  10. Children or chavs? Anyway I digress. The Dodge Charger would be different in a good way!
  11. beauford with mini doors That's the one!
  12. What kind of music is it mate? I'll give it a listen, just in work at the moment.
  13. Please for the love of God don't get one of those vintage looking kit cars for them! You must know the ones I mean.
  14. In all honesty there are some right idiots working on motor files for law firms, I wouldn't be surprised if they got the wrong person and this letter was meant to go to the other party.
  15. I tell you what he'll do in the snow, bugger all. The cars just don't do snow, they're best left at home Don't worry mate, good things come to those who wait. Plus you're getting a standard one right? The Veilside isn't a nice kit.

    DOH!

By the sounds of it I would strongly suggest some of you invest in a trickle charger. We all use them in my family as cars can be left to stand for quite sometime, epsecially my old man's classics. They're not a huge amount of money and will keep your battery nice and healthy
  17. I can't speak for the downshifting majority but you would blip it when downshifting normally, although I have to say the 'auto blip' on the 370 has made me lazy when it comes to this now As for chaging up, smooth and steady is the way, I remember trying to master my 350, the missus just laughed at my gear changes sometimes
  18. Stock does equal more money in your pocket good luck with the sale mate and sorry to hear your circumstances have changed.
