That DTE thing used to crack me up. I had something like 20 miles on the gauge in my old 350, drove to the petrol station it went down to 14 then while sitting on the forecourt not even moving it went to ---. The 370 just has that stupid triangle that reminds me of the warning triangle on Mercs when you break traction.

I wonder who bought that 4 seater Zed haha

I'd like to see this in a 370, no beam but the boot is way smaller! No picture of 2 golf bags on my boot lid

We use Royal Mail in work for their freepost/pre-paid envelopes. It works well and we rarely get anything going missing but I appreciate you want a level or security such as recorded/signed for.

It does have it's downsides though, I've only managed 1700 miles in 3 months!

It's not about affording to run the Zed as a commuter it's about the abuse it suffers. I am literally paranoid of dents to the point that I will avoid car parks at all costs, but that's just me If I didn't care about bodywork or keeping the car mint I would drive it all the time but it's safest during the day parked up in the garage

If you want my advise I'd go out and buy a diesel. I just bought a diesel for work, an '03 A3 TDi Quattro. Such a comfortable car, returns 50+mpg and should see you through the winter nicely with the 4x4 I gave £4k for it. I don't think I couldn't justify ruining my Zed for work. I have it purely as a car I enjoy when I want to. That said I haven't given it a good drive for nearly 2 weeks

I was going to say. USB sticks work well. But that said has anyone been using their USB stick and all of a sudden the system doesn't recognise it? I've had this and taken it out and plugged it back in and it's been fine.

You're probably right, maybe easier than the old nano to navigate while in a car (not moving obviously )

I have a battered little 2GB one for my Zed, it's a second gen nano I found when I was valeting a car about 5 years ago but to be honest I find Apple software so restricting I have a 4GB USB stick that I paid a fiver for and does the same job and that plugs straight in

Apple are getting like BMW with their SUVs.

I got used to it very quickly when using an Abarth 500 but then again you would come to expect a feature like that on a car like that and it works very well too. IMO it doesn't work well on the 370 and as you say you wouldn't expect that on a sports car.

On the plus side it's a lot of car for the money!

Judging by your sig you have a 350, this feature is only on the 370 as far as I know. Although as you might gather I wish it wasn't. Re-positioning on my drive is where it kicks in and is most annoying, or in traffic on a slope, it seems to 'auto hold' for too long and that can either result in me stalling (if it catches me out) or having to take off awkwardly so it completely defeats the purpose it was put in place for in my eyes.

Man I feel young at 24 although I can relate to this. Kids these days are so different to when I was growing up in the mid 80's/early 90's. I like this one: "We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just yelled for them!" Mobile phones killed all that.

Shame I missed the poll but I'm not sure how I'd re-act. I'd like to think cool head, but that's easier said than done.

I did suspect as much, bloody modern electronics. I regret to say it's even caused me to stall. Don't get me wrong it was a great feature in the 500 Abarth but not in the 370.
