  1. Just one question, have you worked in the car trade before? Connections are important! I don't know if this has changed much but a mate gets a great deal of his cars from dealers, they're part-ex's and that's based on working up a reputation as a trader. I think for VAT purposes you register once you have a turnover of £60k, someone please correct me if I'm wrong. My advice would be to get a few low budget motors first, see how it goes, start small and make your way up. Ploughing your savings into a business you seem fairly new to will not return you a bigger profit. Learn the trade then invest.
  2. We bought a Nilfisk a few months back, it recently started playing up and actually overheated the other day took it back to Machine Mart, they've sent it off to Nilfisk now. Maybe just a dodgy one? Don't seem to have much luck with the ol pressure washers!
  3. From £8,888? Are they going to add optional extras from the factory?
  4. You miss the point a bit mate. A lot of people aren't happy that the layout will change and a great deal don't want to be forced to pay 50 odd quid a month to watch every other race when they have no interest in watching football. You can currently watch great coverage in HD for free. And how long did anyone really think that would last? Again, this is only what has happened to other sports over the last 20 years. Look what Sky has done for Darts, Rugby League, 20/20 Cricket, Golf and Speedway. All sports that 10 years ago were lucky to get a 10 minute highlight slot on BBC2......... People see Sky as this big bully who comes in and buys everything and forces it to pay @*!# loads to watch stuff we used to watch for free. They don't. They take an old tired shell of a sport, chuck a load of money at it, get the best commentators, revamp it and turn it into something worth watching. As Dan say's, they never made a sport worse to watch, so if they can improve it, then thats superb imo F1 isn't quite that, just yet. Darts might have been and always will be.
  5. I'm an Audi driver, we don't usually hog the middle lane on a serious note though my commute is mainly on motorways and middle land hogging, as well as 'fast' lane hogging is a real problem!

  7. No time like the present just pop them below, although I feel my mind's in the gutter when it comes to comments on a picture with 4 guys and a girl, oh dear
  8. Haha someone needs to come up with a good caption for the first picture!
  9. My girlfriend had one of these as a first car, it was an M reg but it was great, never missed a beat. It really isn't about street cred with a first car, it's more about learning the road. I don't remember what she paid on insurance but my first car which would have been over 8 years ago was a P reg Corsa and that cost a tad over £1k to insure, seems insurance has sky rocketed for younger drivers these days.

    Fiat 500

Had a 500 Abarth, great cars. The lower models look a little boring but the Abarth with a laugh. I miss it actually. It handled well, sounded great and went pretty well.
  11. What I really want to know is if this is the end for Jake, Eddie, Martin and Coulthard? Seriously, like said they are the best team for the F1 coverage and are just as important as the race in my eyes. I don't enjoy the Sky format, it's just Americanised.
  12. BBC are covering all races online? Light at the end of the tunnel then?
  13. Do not write 'Curriculum Vitae' or 'CV' at the top of it. Put your name.
  14. Don't have Sky, can't stand football so why on earth would I shell out for a Sky Sports subscription? I don't watch TV enough as it is justify even getting Sky. This is quite bad news and I guarantee viewing figures will drop sharply. Plus the BBC team are great, I wouldn't change them. Oh well there's always a few good sites to watch it on, just need to find the HD ones now
  15. Damn right! This is really touching though and quite amazing.
  16. So tempted, I've been wanting a project and there's a big space on the ramp in the garage...

    I love it I do want a 911.
  18. I think I've seen this one before around there as I work up that way!
  19. Unless it's black, then it might be the most pointless mod ever You could have a white wrap, or even red to match your calipers That's bordering on batmobile look with the red
  20. Very small difference but never the less a difference that can be picked up on! My display also looks different when on (I'm not talking about all the fingerprints over it )

    Fail

During my meeting with Toby, he was quite open about dealships not knowing enough about the cars. Espeically the Used cars sales staff. It was something he wanted to rectify. I find that quite shocking. They're clearly in the wrong profession. If I didn't know my field of work that I was employed in I'd be fired, simple. A salesman must know the ins and outs of their products, it's their job to!

  23. USB and other ports are in the centre console. If it helps here's a picture of my dash from a 40th anniv which has connect premium: Good luck on your search
  24. I've seen this Monterey Blue 370 in the Cardiff area. Actually a mate who lives in Barry has seen it a few times and only mentioned it because of the number plate and I caught it leaving Cardiff Bay Retail Park last night at around 7:45pm. The numberplate is '370 *T', I would have thought Nissan owned that plate! Anyway, anyone on here?
