  1. Insurance on my daily isn't far behind my Zed, it's a con.
  2. This one is a bit over the top, earlier ones were better.
  3. It's a farce, you get 1 point for every £2 on petrol. I'd rather go to Asda or Morrisons which are a minute further down the road and about 2p a litre cheaper. That said, I have to go Tesco for the 99 and the staff are nicer. I have a clubcard but it's on the girlfriends account so I rarely see the results of the points, I just notice one week there's a 1000 points on the receipt and the next it 's gone down to 100 odd.
  4. Getting rid of a Zed because of problems, sounds familiar Good luck with the new car mate, they're nice to drive got a limited edition wind breaker thing for the SLK here if you're interested? Genuine MB.
  5. I think they should have it out in the pits. Maldonado was well out of order if that was deliberate. I feel for Schumi though, what a way to kick off the weekend after being quickest in P1 and the 20th anniversary. Senna looks strong as well! Should be a good race tomorrow, if only it was as good as qualifying in terms of the drivers really being mixed up in terms of order. I'll be surprised if Vettel wins tomorrow as always pulls out a great pole but that's about it.
  6. Bike sold, cheers for the i nterest!
  7. Little late to the party there mate, I saw this reduction happen in the US over the weekend and didn't think anymore of it then heard they dropped the price here by the time I got wind of it they had sold out everywhere! I would have definitely grabbed one at £69 (what they were going for through HP) it would only be a matter of time before it's programmed to run Android and you technically have a great bit of kit for dirt cheap, apparently cost them around £180 just to make the things.
  8. Parking on corners in tight streets. They do it everywhere here, you have to creep out into the road to the point that you may as well boot it out of a junction and hope for the best. I thought in the highway code you weren't allowed to park like 10 meters from a corner, I may be wrong though...
  9. Good point, make sure it's none of that cheap nasty stuff either We all have to make compromises but as said the Zed is only metal and it can be replaced some time later on.
  10. Has to be what the 5th time thats been posted? I must have missed it 4 times then +1
  11. If in doubt call the DVLA. I've actually found them to be very helpful before!
  12. Sell the Zed, get the truck, buy the house
  13. I wonder what the wrong copper would make of these I've been followed by many a copper at all times of the day and never pulled, a mate who has them was pulled, the copper didn't take a blind bit of notice, just said "family from Germany is it?" haha.
  14. How far will the car go without a key present? I've often wondered this when hoping out the car with the key in my pocket, if some opportunistic little bugger tried to get in and speed off.
  15. That was quite a savage moment. It's amazing the advances in safety over the years. Brilliant program!
  16. My bro takes his R34 there, he's taken his R32 there as well. I've never been up there but he's got nothing by praise for them and he's a picky little bugger, so I think you're safe to go with them mate
  17. I'd buy one and probably annoy someone who would in turn take a pin to it and ruin my fun
  18. Having a dig? at least I put slow in inverted commas. Think the problem is you don't get asked that on your driving test, do you? I know I chose to do pass plus when I did my test about 8 years ago as I was driving to newquay with mates the day after I passed, it didn't do bugger all to my insurance policy but it taught me well.
  19. I started to think it was just me that witnessed far more women on phones than men, you see them all the time, creeping in traffic looking down at their laps, on the motorway on their phones, the funniest is when they have them on loudspeaker and they hold the phone about 6 inches away from their face, it's not subtle, it's blatant. It winds me up because I forked out for a hands free system in my commuter so I didn't have to hold a phone while driving and these people just don't seem to care. Sometimes I wish I had a camera in my car as I usually catch a good 5+ people each day, each way to work. Right up there as the biggest annoyance is motorway driving, it nearly drives me mad every single day! People in this country do not know how to drive on the motorway. I don't usually drive a van but the other day I had to and I was on the motorway, mainly sticking to the 'slow' lane as I was doing 65-70 mph and there was no traffic. I come upon a lorry and I go to overtake, I indicated and there was a huge amount of space but this didn't stop the woman in the middle lane in her pig ugly SUV, who had been in the middle lane for a good 5 miles, going nuts at me for pulling out flashing her lights and getting well angry. I'm sorry but she shouldn't be sat in the middle lane, it takes a lot longer to get my speed back up in a van if I have to put my brakes on than it does for her in her SUV to move out and let me out! Driving in this country gets me pretty angry.
  20. Thats good to know This is not good to know

  22. Slightly on topic but a bit off did anyone see that documentary Graffiti Wars? Quite interesting.
