  1. I have a 5ft scaff bar, works a treat
  2. Looking to buy early next year with the girlfriend, she told me the words I wanted to hear "You can keep your 370"
  3. Surely you'd rather stay in your car than get out and risk getting hit by a floating car?
  4. When I bought my 370 last year I had a real problem with flies, not so much this year. The flies (little black ones) were literally using my car as a grave yard. They were flying on to it and dying by the hundreds!
  5. I took it easy for about 150 miles then it got the better of me I'm afraid.
  6. All this talk makes me want to do the same, I could do with a week of sun, work is dragging!
  7. Out of interest why do you guys want reverse cameras? Is it simply for parking?
  8. I leave mine in gear all the time, even when on flat ground. Do it with all my cars, I don't trust handbrakes!
  9. Looks like a b*stard love child between a ferrari and mclaren!
  10. I use Win7 on both my home laptop and work PC. Never had a problem, it's a pretty solid OS
  11. I used to hate maths. God knows how I ended up in accounts.
  12. Great game between Wales and SA. Best I've seen them play in a while. Absolutely brutal!
  13. Eddie Jordan will have a field day based on that first lap. What a shambles!
  14. I agree with Eddie Jordan, the new teams don't do anything, they're always in the bottom - out in Q1, it's boring. They should just rename qualifying the 'Vettel and guests show'.
  15. I must be wrong in the head but I like this http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3179431.htm

Exactly, although you'll be hard pushed to find one that does everything as well as a C2S sadly (R8 is too slow and has no storage, Aston is too slow and too fragile, and what else is there brand-new for £100k?) so it's still going to sell like hotcakes. I agree and I suppose if you're in the market for brand new then it makes sense. Out of all the cars you list above I would rather have the Porsche, it is essentially unrivaled as an all rounder in that price bracket. It's only when you cast your eye to the second hand market do the possibilities become apparent and in that market there's a lot to be had around 100k.

I spec'd one up near enough 100k! And then I suppose you ask yourself 'what cars could I buy for 100k?' and that's a lot to consider.
  18. +1 ....... as long as you know a whole lot more than the numpties behind the desk at.......... er.... where in the world...... er.....nope its gone I guy I know now has a little PC repair shop..... he's making a mint from it. But I think he has had to work hard to get the contacts and prices for components...... especially laptops (specific screens and the like) I have a mate, ironically a 350 driver as well, who runs a support/repair business. He used to work maintaining an IT infrastructure in a school but complained the money and work was not good enough. He built up some contacts and now works for himself and earns well enough. Agreed you must have the contacts and know machines and operating systems inside out!
  19. Should be interesting tomorrow morning. First match and we get South Africa?!

http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2011/09/u-spy-unmarked-2012-porsche-911-coupe.html I might be on my own but I love it
  21. B16s work in civics because they're light. I'm fairly sure they would struggle in a camaro. Here's a proper engine swap...if you can call it that! I would love to get back into messing with engines and swapping them but I just don't have the time
  22. There must be more money in repairs, just my opinion.
  23. Sacrifices?! You can be out enjoying a beer (and the opener of the rugby world cup) on a friday night while I'm just walking into work on a friday morning having to put up with the live score updates on the internet, I see no sacrifices there
  24. It's a joke isn't it. I do an online quote and hand over my details, sure enough I get calls about great insurance deals and then I get the call about an accident I never had, it makes my blood boil. I had one the other day, I told the person politely that I had never been involved in an accident and they best remove my details from their system. It winds me up no end when people who don't have whiplash claim for it, for what a couple of grand?!
