i drove to Sheffield a few weeks ago, about 200 miles. when we had all the snow. was fine. took the van tho (just in case). all of the roads were fine. just the car park was bad. just a pain knowing what to do.

the problem is, i am supposed to be travelling up North to Middlesbrough from south London on Thursday. i was hoping to take the Zed. i was thinking with the current conditions would it be safe to drive the Zed..... i have access to a caddy van/car crew cab that i could drive but i just love driving the zed. LOL i need two new tyres on the back which i will get done before we go. got falkens so was hopefully gonna get the same to replace. do i..... wait til after Christmas and get the tyres done then. and drive the van (play safe, better fuel eco) get the tyres done and drive the Zed. (better option, more fun, Ipad connection ect.) your opinions please!

yes i was VERY VERY cold at the time, i was well chuffed to get it all on and working. i waited until the next day to clean and hoover her out properly.

yup my bro in law lives in germany (he's posted out there), he says that most, if not all cars have winter tyres. he has a second set of steels with winters fitted. its illegal to drive without them.

yes, most DD unit will fit the hole. just need a fascia adapter. be prepared the whole install with a new HU (600-800) and other essential bits (70) will be around 700 quid mark. here is mine.

hang on. your complaining that a RWD 300bhp sports car should be "good" in SNOW. no cars are good in snow unless they have big tyres and 4WD. my mate has a crappy BMW RWD 1 series and it is more than useless in the snow!!!!

i had them on my ST before and they just werent bright enough. i got a tug. on the Zed they do seem brighter tho. same lamps as before. bought them from the same shop. baffling!!

great little motor. i have had my 1.4s for 6 years now. with absolutely no problems at all. just the clutch going after 70k. great little car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

louise, are these the brighter ones? as i have the silva tec ones and wasnt really happy with the output. i have been told that the phillips ones are really good.

What about autobulbsdirect.com? Phillips silver vision are the best for the indicators. eBay sell the fog light and reverse light. I have bought them. U just need to search for them.
