  4. i had a play with one, its seems really really good. for just ebooks. bit pointless getting the 3g one IMO, but the one i was using seemed very smart and well put together. i have an Ipad and its no comparison but it seemed very good and at a 5th of the price. happy days.

  11. well that will be another day i think. i might do some research and get some ideas of what is needed. i really dont want to replace the cable tho. although i know i should.
  12. TBH, its quite easy. just gotta be brave. there was some soldering involved but u could use scotch locks. the hardest bit was trying to find a home for all the cables. VERY tight.
  13. the only hard part was running the cables to the back of the car. but i can watch DVD's on the go now!! LOL
  14. yeah thats what i did. just run a cable to the chassis. it also stops you going into the settings as well. i did think that there didnt seem like many options u could change. DOH!!
  15. no i wouldnt put it on. can u not give it a super quick wash? then put the cover on?
  16. i have finally fitted my Alpine iva 202r HU. i was gonna put cable in for the speakers and put new speakers in ect but i couldnt be bothered i have fitted every thing but the ipod lead. but that is very easy to fit. i used the guides on here to fit everything. here it is fitted. and the camera on the back. the bloody ISO loom didnt have a "parking brake" connection and i didnt realise. so i have to pull it all out again and adapter the loom. what a PITA!!!! but it looks and sound great. well happy.
  17. i have just fitted a double DIN. this should be OK. you will need the ISO loom adapter. plus a steering wheel adapter (if u have steering wheel controls). and a fascia adapter. i have fitted a rear camera too. quite jazzy bit bloody long winded.
