pingchat, its a multi platform messaging service thats free. like BBM. i have an android and my mrs has a BB. can get it on Ibone too. its very good but need mobile internet for it to work. although it doesnt stay connected, only when a message is being sent or recieved.

i was looking at this for my girlfriend a little while ago. she wanted something that could be used in a auto setting but also something more advanced. i looked at the others in my price range and decided with help from shops and my cousin that the canon 500d was a good buy. reasonably priced with good features. she is going to take a course to improve her skills. a new lens is a must, tameron seemed to be OK for the money. my cousin who is a mediacl photographer said that it was a great starter, but would also keep being "up to date". so the canon 500d is the camera i went for.

When I did mine, I really couldn't be arsed to change the wiring ( although I knew I should have) but the sound I get from the HU is greatly improved. I think the sub works ok. There is a lot of bass. Keep checking on eBay but for a double din you will be looking at at least 350 fitted in the car. As u will need the adapters and the fascia plate. I was very lucky in getting my HU off the forum for quite cheap and getting the adapters for a good price. If it weren't for the forum I would have paid about 350 for the HU and 50 for the loom adapters so all in fitted 450. Just keep your eyes peeled on eBay as there are always bargains. Also a single Din unit would be much cheaper.

yeah, i realised that once i had uploaded the photos. i might wrap it. doesnt look to bad on the car. but it just needs a clean lol. and yeah the sticky out bits are a pain. i need to get them refurbed.

But be aware that on a lot of cars the bumpers can look a slightly different colour to the rest of the car in certain lighting conditions, they came out of the factory this way. Good luck! Especially the petrol cap. i believe this is caused because the bodywork is metal and the bumpers and filler cap are plastic. the paint bonds differently.

with the new wheels on and cleaned, and the car had a quick wash too.

looks to be a very nice little unit. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=16403 viewtopic.php?f=17&t=31260&p=457835 sextons direct have most of the bits required. is it pre/post facelift? bose/non bose? steering wheel controls? i have just replaced my bose and it was very difficult sqashing all of the cables behind the unit.

its back, and seems to be very good. but i'll only know tomorrow in the light how good the job is. also got some dent removed and he has done a fantastic job getting those out. PDR is awesome.
