  1. i think they look great. and for the added protection too!!
  2. yup a few people got them, said they are good too.
  3. The scorpion is great. With a y pipe it sounds sweet! Well happy with mine
  4. Apparently the profile is too low for the heavy zed. 35's are easier to get hold of as well. TBH i think the advice varies from place to place. So i just went for direct replacements.
  5. I would just make sure all of the work gets done to a high standard. Bit different i know but my clio was bodged by the garage. I had a mate look at it and he said the work was shocking. And to take it back. The sub frame had been reshaped and not replaced like they said they would do. Just filled and sprayed the front bumper. Really pi**ed me off as i had paid the exess of 500 quid.
  6. The tyres are direct replacement. Was gonna go 35 but was advised not to. I found the falkens to be very good on my ST. Liked them. Road noise is OK. Grip level is good. Much better than the bridgestone RE 040. Nice and cheap too at 135 quid each. Just need to get them fitted now.
  7. My brother in law does this. It does work out quite well but his road is like a bloody car garage. The tax man looks very hard at these kind of sellers. He has had a couple of lemons tho. Part and parcel tho. His advice is buy small as they sell well.
  8. got my falken 275/40/18. But they look absolutely massive. Cant wait to get them fitted. Woo hoo. Sparky
  9. Oh go on then. It's for a great cause. 2 tickets please. I'll pay in a bit.
  10. Do these illuminate with the lights on. Would they fit on a 04 z?
  11. its proper class!!! but at 300 quid is a bit steep. and who else is gonna have one!!!!!
  12. i think its just the cold weather. and the fact it takes the scorpion a long time to warm up. plus i think the car might be slightly overfuelling as well.
  13. this is the one i used. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Car-Rear-View-Rev ... 2555wt_991 great little unit, offer him £20.50 comes with a hole saw, all the leads etc.. fits directly into the towing eye cover. it does get a bit steamed up on the lens sometimes but after a few miles driving its sorted out.
