You would need to have a 3 pos switch. One with a common, normally open and a normally closed. I'll do a quick diagram tomorrow. Its very simple.

It's very simple. As long as the common goes to the reverse cam feed. U need to wire the switched from the reverse light NC and then wire the permanent supply into the NO of the switch. So then u can switch between the two.

i have wired this cam into the reverse light so that when you put the car into reverse it changes. i have also thought of putting a switch in and wiring so u can switch it on when not in reverse. perhaps a switch on the centre console or down by the washer jet/esp switches as there are blanks in both areas.

Yes. U can remove it with no adverse effects. I have done it to mine with no probs.

I had the same issue. Undo the mounting screws and just tilt it up. Worked for me. No messing with the fascia at all.

Oh ok. I have only just done this. Put in a double din unit. But i really cant bloody remeber where the black phono goes. I think that basically the red and white are the left speakers and the yellow and black do the right. I think that u have it connected right in the last photo. Make sure u ground the parking park wire too. Also dependant of the loom you have, u have to chop off one of the plugs and actually solder wires together. This is for the steering wheel controls. I'll have a look for the guide i used.

You appear to be missing the steering wheel control loom. I had loads of random wires on mine. It took me ages to work it all out.

yes, its is a stacking system. press the load button then the disk slot number. ie "load", then it flashes and then press a number. then push the disk in. otherwise there is a fault on your unit.

+2 on the ground. i used a ring crimp then took one of the bolts of round the gear lever and made a perfect ground there. works spot on. also IIRC, without the parking brake grounded/not connected it means that u cant get into some of the menu options either. so u have to do it properly.

The ghetto mod works very well IMO. Only way to stop the skipping is to take it apart and check the unit. Also stupid question about the voice dialing but have u got the BT module required to pair the phone to the car.

i have fitted a reverse cam. its awesome!! great bit of kit really. 20 quid from ebay!! the longest bit was getting the wire from the front to the back and soldering the reverse signal. well worth it tho.

that looks like a great price. it certainly looks like a GT to me:- cruise, heated leather seats, bose, brembros. the rays were an option on top of the GT pack. about 2k option as well. i would say if it looks straight and the history is good then snap it up. best colour too

that seems like a cracking price!!! for a 57 plate with fairly low miles. happy days. i have seen a temper in the flesh and did notice about 4 different shades of the colour. its just a trait of that particular colour.

i have falken 452's all round on mine. think they are spot on.
