  1. the fog light u get off of ebay. its an LED one. very bright. the indicator lamps i would get Phillips Silver vision. they are better than the silvatec one that are found in halfrauds. they are quite pricey tho. and not that easy to come by. try auto bulbs direct.com. they are usually very good. if i can find the links i'll post them up a bit later
  2. Yeah i havent been in there for ages. The bloke is a right bloody misrable sod. Plus he doesnt deal with models that he doesnt sell. So traxxas is a big no no. I will go in there tomorrow and get some nitro cleaner and some more tubing. And some more glow plugs.
  3. i take the mrs to McD's and if we're getting dressed up its burger king for the posh nosh!
  4. mcdonalds, KFC and burger king arent on that list???
  5. totally awesome skills!!! the ambulance one is well funny in the first vid of three!!!!
  6. the fuel seems OK. when i put the fuel in the carb directly. its starts no probs. i think i may have to take the carb apart and clean it. not sure if any fuel is going through it. i have "blown" through and can hear air coming out. not sure. i have read that the fuel might be too cold (as its kept in the garage). but as i say it starts when put in the carb. im getting good compression on the piston. it seems to be OK. dont really want to have to strip it out of the car. glow plug and starter is good nice orange glow. will return to factory setting and go from there i think. abbey would get 40+ hp more with a remap and a plenum spacer. not sure if their dyno could handle it
  7. i think your right, i really dont think thats its a "chav" car. the 300 is a similar beast and i wouldnt call that chavvy. the high running costs keep some people away as well.
  8. repost and it looks to be a photoshop!!
  9. hi people, a year or so ago i bought a traxxas revo 3.3. this is after a t-maxx 2.5, HPI and a schumacher xtr 3e. it is an awesome machine and i want to get it running again. for the summer. perhaps bring it to some meets. basically i am having major problems keeping my revo tuned. i followed all the breaking in procedures and it ran well for a while. but i havent used it in ages and i cant remember if i did the after run procedure. it just wont start, i have taken the carb off and checked fuel is passing through. but i have checked everything and it still wont start. if anyone can think of anything i have overlooked that would be great!! cheers Mark
  10. a mate used to have one of these, a MK1 i think. with the bulge twin headlights. it was totally mental, but a sod in the summer tho. the cabin was soooooooo hot due to the mid mounted engine, the A/c did not touch it. perhaps they sorted this issue in the MK2. straight line it was brilliant, twisties not so good. he was always going through tyres as i remember. but as said it got LOADS of attention. even in the silver colour that was fairly understated. very nice car and quite rare now-a-days.
  11. well, im moving to wallington soon. so you will see me more often i would imagine.
  12. got the missus some smellies and then cooked her dinner!! was lovely. then we did the thing, we only do once a year....................... let her drive the Zed!
  13. that may have been Jerry, im sure he lives round there somewhere.
  14. ebay do the mid pipe and back box for about £335, but then u need the y pipe. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-350Z-EXHAU ... 6081wt_804 PM one of the traders, CS or Chilli Red might be able to help.
  15. +1 i have the scorpion and its fantastic, with a japspeed y pipe. happy days. even my mrs likes the noise.
  16. the one thing i would say, get the cable shown by Alexz in the guide. if u get that specific one it saves alot of hassle, as i remember u had to order if from the net, its not something that they do over the counter. its a very cool and simple mod, yes its not very elegant in terms of control but its soooooooo much better than mucking up the ecu controls and stuff!!! from start to finish takes about 2-3 hours. i would make up as much of it indoors as its easier to keep track of things. A great alex/alex's brother!!!
  17. proper funny!!!! the bit about the kids was class!!!
  18. VBH dont care about the tyres
  19. looks brand new, i prob shouldnt ask but, how much does a full overhaul like that cost???!! well worth it to keep it top condition tho!!!!
  20. The unit is an iva 202r. I think. Not sure about the imprint. I'll try what you said.
  21. Well there was supposed to be a free tyre pressure and depth gauge from bridgestone. But i dont think that anyone actually got one
