    Too much?

What a fat, girthy nob you have.
  2. I like it and will be trying it. Just didn't want to spend £100 on stick on raised letters if I don't like it, so will probably try painting them first if I ever get the time. As most have said, got to be a modified Zed with nice wheels to pull it off. Not sure mine is hardcore enough to pull it off but gonna try anyway.
  3. Yep gutted. Was booked for Friday 19th at Wembley. Was really looking forward to royal blood as haven't seen them yet. Bet I'm working When they reschedule.
  4. Bank 1 or 2? Sensor 1 or 2?
  5. Welcome to the club. As others have said, buy on condition rather than age or mileage. Service history is a big one, but I'd much rather a car from member or enthusiast that has been to a good independent garage or self serviced as long as there is evidence and receipts that it has been done. There is no Nissan garage out there that would look after my car with as much care as me. That will be the case with most true enthusiasts so don't be put off by owner serviced.
  6. I know it's not the answer to your question, but have you thought about a solar panel to just keep it topped up? I've used one for about a year now, with my car in the garage and the panel just pointing towards a window it's enough to keep the battery tip top. And of course you won't be resetting your radio and ecu every time you disconnect.
  7. I suspect the jdm rear callipers are the sliding pin type? If they are it will most likely be a sticky caliper, very common on Japanese cars with these types of brake. It will need stripping, cleaning and greasing at a minimum. Potentially a service kit to get it tip top again. Not too difficult to do yourself. You will have boiled your brake fluid too (hence the spongy pedal) so give that a flush/bleed with some fresh fluid while your at it.
  8. Put me down as a maybe, I'll have to see what the wife has planned for me. Any more details regarding timings, where to go on arrival, how to get in if the road is closed etc?
  9. It's a Kaminari Air Dam. It fits a stock bumper
  10. Would love to do a pit, not sure how difficult it would be to dig though, whether I could get a digger in there with the roof etc. I'll have to have a google.
  11. These are my BEFORE I'm afraid the after pics might take a while to upload....... Like...............a few years when I get round to doing something with it.
  12. Looks fantastic in white!Makes it look so modern like it wouldn't look out of place in a showroom now. Really like the first couple of pics. Good job on the engine bay. I must be honest though, I Much prefer the 5 spoke wheels, think it made the car. The gtr wheels, especially so dark, do nothing for me, sorry. Lovely car though, and look forward to seeing your progress.
  13. Mark,is that for safety reasons or because it's best? I was under the impression that 1:1 ie 5th would be most accurate. Have you ever done back to back runs in 4th then 5th and if so was there much difference? Just interested.
  14. You would think so, but I have seen mobile dynos that are basically rollers on a trailer.
  15. 5th gear it is then for most acurate numbers! You definitely would only want to do that on a decent dyno and strapped down properly. 140+ mph on a temporary dyno probably not a good idea.
  16. The best gear (most acurate) will be the one that's closest to 1:1 from input to output. I believe on most 6 speed cars that's 5th. (edit)
  17. Where has the exhaust broken? The usual place is just near to to the rear flange. You could weld it up for now and save for a decent stainless system.
  18. Glad you got the ipdm sorted....... Was that a thanks? Regarding the exhaust, all you have put up is a load of numbers.
  19. As above, it's the HFC causing the problem. If the extenders don't cure it, which it does for some, then ether fit OEM cats or get the car remapped at an UPREV tuner and turn the codes off while they are at it.
