  1. This is a one piece polished charge pipe for Vortech Supercharged 350z 3" with a 3" to 2.75" Samco sport reducer. Bought as part of a limited run group buy - http://www.350z-uk.c...rger-group-buy/ Brand new - never fitted. Other than the aesthetics of this beautiful pipe, it's larger diameter MAF tube allows greater airflow and more room for tuning, gaining larger BHP easier and safer. It also cuts down on the amount of joins in the intake pipe reducing likely-hood of boost leaks. £150 delivered

  11. Congrats on the purchase. Mercs hmm......I like some of them. I like the C63 AMG, well the noise anyway and some of the mental black editions, but maybe a bit later in life. I like sporty looking cars really.
  12. You're correct, that is not fitted correctly. It appears in the picture (hard to see) that it's not on the right hand pulley fully. The grooves in the belt should each match up with the groove on the pulleys. It's too close to the engine and that can be see on the tensioner pulley quite clearly. You can see that it's already started to damage your new belt too. Might sound harsh, as mistakes can be made by anyone, but if thats the quality of 'Mechanic' you're going to I would think twice. That's an easy fix that you can do yourself though so no big drama. I would suggest once that is sorted that you go to a zed specialist, or even another forum member who knows these cars and take them for a ride to demonstrate the noise. You could be guessing for a long time otherwise!
  13. Shame you don't like white, I could have sold you mine Really curious to see what your final decision would be, good luck finding the most awesome car! Please post photos here the second you agree to buy it! White is my second choice colour . Your not seriously selling already are you?
  14. Yeah I did see that, very good price. Is that the guy you do the detailing for? I've heard nothing but praise for him on the Maserati forum. I'm not sure I could live with that RED interior though, its very bright! It looks cool from outside the car, the red/black but not sure it wouldn't be too much when sitting in there. To be fair, I haven't seen the red in the flesh though. He also has a 4.7GTS that I like the look of for just under 45k. I really need to speak to him, as everybody says hes a very helpful guy whether your purchasing from him or not.
  15. I assume yours is still fir sale then? That would make an epic car but as said earlier in the thread, BMW doesn't do it for me. Sorry.

    Just...yes

Ooo nice. Love the colour. Dunno if I could live with a left hooker tough. Or 10mpg lol I think the handbrake may need adjusting.
  17. So after selling my Zed and then narrowly missing out on the ART demo 370z (Just because it came up at the right time) I'm back on this. The delay in moving forward is because my work is going through a round of compulsory redundancies .....30% of us! So that could put a massive spanner in the works. I will find out in the next 2-3 weeks if I'm one of the unlucky ones. If I am, I'm going to MASSIVELY regret selling my Zed as there isn't another car I would rather have for under 20k and I'm still gonna want a decentish car. So fingers crossed. If I do get made redundant I'll probably try a 370z. So staying positive I'm looking and researching the net again ready for the next purchase. Since there has been a little delay, I've managed to save a little more towards the car fund, so if all goes well I could possibly stretch to 45k. That has its own problems. There are a lot of nice cars for 45k! Anyway, top of the list at the moment is still the Maserati Granturismo. However, now the budget alIows I think it will have to be the 4.7S and not the 4.2. Probably the MC shift, but not ruling out the auto until I've driven them both back to back as the MC is a bit marmite apparently. The servicing costs are going to be pricey, but its only every 2 years/12000 miles so not so bad. The thing that scares me is the cost of normal things that can and do go wrong such as AC pump £1000, Clutch £2000, Variators (valve timing) £5000 and even a headlight washer £600 so a warranty would be a must I would think. That said I keep watching this and then don't care - - A close second on my list is....(yes Adrian)...R35 GTR. Now I know its not a V8, and it hasn't got the passion or sense of occasion of the masser but its hard to argue its value for money. 40-45k will get you a decent one with 600bhp quite comfortably and that is tempting. I would like to have owned one one day as they are such a legendary car and they are holding their money very well. It would have to be black for me as the colour hides the ugly nose better. 45k should get a 2011 facelift, which then stretches the servicing from the ridiculous 6mths/6k to 12 months/9k which would make me happier. I'm not liking the sound of the usual poor Nissan paint on them though and spending that much on a car that has a known corrosion problem might bother me. Obviously they are very quick. And that will be exciting in its own way. But are they exciting to drive? I've always had RWD cars and I love the feeling of the car moving about when your pressing on, not sideways round every corner, but a little squirm here and there. I can't see that on the road I'm ever going to be able to get a GTR anywhere near loosing traction, so will I find that boring after a while or will the sheer speed be enough? Just to make it even harder I've just noticed that V6 supercharged F-type Jags would be in that budget. First world problems eh?
  18. There's a Whatsapp group? Whatsapp, facebook don't anyone chat on here anymore?
  19. ^^This^^ In fact, I wonder how many of the people that comment on prices currently own a Zed or are they mainly ex-owners or people looking for one. Regardless, as said above, and I said on the other thread, I feel its rude to publicly belittle someones for sale thread.
  20. Welcome to the club and nice looking zed. Pretty vague description of your problem. Give us some more detail. Certain revs? Cruising? Accelerating gently or flat out? Slight hesitation or total cut of power etc.. You get the idea.
  21. I think on the face of it that is a fair price for cars that have recently been treated to a respray. If I was buying an early car with lowish mileage, the bodywork would be my main concern and these have been sorted. I'm also of the opinion, that on a for sale ad people should keep opinions on price, to themselves. If the seller doesn't mind waiting for the right buyer, that's his prerogative. If a car doesn't sell then there is a good chance it's overpriced and they will realise themselves. He asked opinions on a separate thread. If someone has to comment on the price, they should be polite and do it via PM. In fact I'm starting to think for sale ads should be locked from the outset. Rant over... Lol.
  22. Do you do a lot of standing starts? Or hill starts? Or heavy traffic? Or drive with your foot resting on the clutch pedal? If none of the above, then a clutch should not wear out in that amount of mileage. Spirited driving on open roads shortens the life very little, unless your slipping the clutch unnecessarily during gear changes. It sounds like you've not been happy with the service from your dealer from the start. I'd be tempted to ask them to reconsider the warranty claim or you will have to relay your feedback to head office. Edit - just seen Ewan's post.... Looks like you should definitely try another dealer if you want a warranty claim. If not, go to a specialist independent.
