  1. I'm trying to think of a good reason to order 1 ( already have one). Any reasons why you would need 2. Good shout! thanks for letting us know. I've ordered 2 as well. I currently have 3 trolley jacks, one is massive but is good for reaching to the middle of the car, and two little 2 ton jacks (not low entry though so have to drive onto blocks first and they are not matching). Reason to get another two......so you can jack up front and back at the same time, or one on each sill. And whats cooler than having two jacks that match?
  2. If I were you I'd check your wheel nuts and suspension components for security, just to be safe.
  3. Congrats on the new motor and welcome to the club. Must have been chilly with the roof down!
  4. Was you pulling away? - if so probably 'clicky axle' (loads of info in the FAQ section Or was you driving along? Stone in the wheel arch?
  5. That's an impressive amount of metallic fleck, looks like paint.
  6. Very nice! I assume it's a re-spray and not a wrap? Looks the business.
  7. My wife tells me the Calendar has arrived safely. Thanks to all involved. I'm looking forward to having a look through at the pics and seeing who's made an appearance......if I ever get home from work....
  8. Linked it for you Sam. Link: https://www.youtube....mmcgoo78/videos Snetterton look's like good fun. Cheers Gareth. Yep, it is a good track for the Zed. A good mix of slow/fast corners and a couple of long straights for stretching the legs a bit. Very good surface and plenty of run off should you need it .
  9. I can't link to youtube as its blocked at work, but my username is sammcgoo78 (I think) There's a couple of vids on there of me on track. Again not the greatest, but if your bored.........
  10. A square set up is not really recommended on the Zed, but you probably new that and want a bit of tail happy action. The normal size for that wheel would be 245/35/19 but not sure the TC would like the same on both axles. if you did want to vary front to back you could probably get away with 235 front 255 rear or 245/265 Someone who knows more will probably be along shortly.
  11. Seriously? I couldn't think of anything less 'Z'. I'd want aggressive styling, Aggressive sounding, V6 or V8, RWD, Manual and 400bhp + . (unless its gonna be lighter, then 350bhp+ will do) ................I wish
  12. There's a possibility I could make this if I'm back from work in time, but will be a last minute booking. I hope the fog stays away this time!
  13. If you want them to fit properly as they were designed 245/35/19 Front 275/35/19 Rear If you want a little stretch then a bit narrower by the same amount on each.
  14. I hope they actually review some cars........... Getting quite bored of all the specials and races with boats, planes, hot air balloons, submarines, tanks, spaceships, ........... I think they should stop spending so much time and money doing xmas specials leaving only 9 episodes a year, and do 20 normal episodes about cars.
  15. Good work! Can't wait to hear it running. You must be well excited Ian....I'm excited for you!
  16. Hi welcome to the club. Have a read through the posts in the faq section most of your questions should be answered. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/18-350z-faq/
  17. Front 9 x 19 ET20 245/35/19 Rear 10 x 19 ET25 275/35/19 Stock suspension, no spacers, no rubbing.
  18. Welcome to the club. As others have said, clutch depends on previous use. Follow the advise above regarding accelerating in a high gear at low speed and listen for slippage. Don't get too worried about a high biting point, as compared to most cars they are high anyway. (unless its right at the top) Most other things are in the buyers guide. Good luck.
  19. Welcome to the club Mason. That makes it sound amazing! Drive both DE and HR and decide yourself, in reality you won't notice much difference. If your happy with a DE you can use the money you saved buying a cheaper car to fund the modifications you WILL inevitably carry out. Good luck with the hunt.
