  1. Graham, BC or our newly developed KW dampers will suit you fine. Both leave the rear spring in the same position. but do have adjustable ride height. I also have found some Headlamps for you, will email you.
  2. Mark i was going on the premise that wide-band lambda being a more precise and an extended scale in comparison to narrow-band, so the ECU is setup for this rather than just upping/cutting the injector DC/duration in response to rich/lean, and would be able to have a pre calculated table for whatever amount of fuel to adjust each lambda feedback AFR back to the required figure therefor being more fuel efficient. I was under the impression that this was one of the prime reasons for the current lean burn engines fuel efficiency? Closed loop is only used around Stioc (14.7AFR or Lambda 1) The latest car use closed loop through out the fuel control but the older 350Z only around 14.7 afr so running a narrow or wide band sensor wont make much of a difference. One thing thou on all these cars the lambda's do deteriorate and we reset these wear when we re tune the stock ECU this allows the car to close loop to 14.7 afr quicker. Graham will give you a ring tomorrow. thanks
  3. I did find this kit http://www.jenvey.co...d-horns-cknn02c Note the curved horns to fit under the bonnet Im very tempted, but rather nervous as well - already have 1 expensive car, dont need another.... thoughts are:- exhaust manifolds itbs cams ecu Would make one hell of a noise Graham, ring me to discuss.......
  4. TB are good for power but bad to fit and set up on a 350Z 1, stock ECU wont run a car with ITB 2, servo vacuum are low 3, unless you use a ECU that runs DBW your need to fit a throttle cable/set up 4, fitment under the bonnet if you run a air box (which is a must for road car) just fir a SC or a cheaper turbo kit which we are developing Alloy cam covers , just use the Nissan Pathfinder Stock Alloy covers , off the shelf part.
  5. Just fit some ASNU or ID's far better quality injectors
  6. Exciting things happening at Abbey Motorsport Ltd, we have just signed a deal to bring the excellent Hunter Hawkeye ELITE TD Wheel aligner to Abbey Motorsport, the same equipment Nissan HPC dealers need to use; http://www.hunter.co...elite/index.cfm
  7. Won't make any difference weather it is a UK or JDM car both models have full lambda control just the JDM cars have narrow band sensors doesn't make them any slower to close loop. Graham, there wasn't any codes logged in the ECU and everything was working right. Let me know when we can drop the car on our Dynapack dyno. Thanks
  8. We have seen this and spent a long time looking into the issue , we have found out it is a exhaust cam control issue , easily fix with a Uprev remap , either just to cur the problem or a full remap to get all the gains from the Uprev remap. Give me a ring on 01883 731332 ext 2 or PM me on here. thanks
  9. I have tuned a STS kit on a built motor , they work well up to around 0.8 bar boost then after the drop in exhaust pressure causes boost drop off , car was running a GT35 ran 550 hub bhp @ 1.2bar boost and 580lb/ft tuned with Uprev. Good idea keep the boost at a reasonable level and don't make to much torque for a stock Motor.
  10. Car today made 320hub bhp so up around 345flywheel bhp. Doesn't really matter what the final figure was as long as the gain before and after remapping shows a gain (area under the graph is the main thing to get) steel lynx do you want me to upload your graphs tomorrow?
  11. NATS light shouldn't be on. Let me know tomorrow if it is I will drop down to sort the issue out. Good numbers from your car tjou
  12. if you buy a Osiris cable where we tune by logs , your get 3 e tunes within the price , this means we will carry out 3 teaks to your map to get the tune spot on. If you have a tune on a dyno any extra tuning will need to be paid for.
  13. Okay NP, so the gain in figures was just the difference in dyno figures. I was 100% happy when the car ran 465 bhp it was spot on but readinf Peter's post it read that has had gained Power/Torque , but in fact it was just due to the way the Dyno Dynamics dyno adjusts the figures with compensations.
  14. Did you run it with my map in the car Jez? So Just the same as it was on my Dynapack Dyno. No real gain. what compensation figures you using? I am sorry but that car was tuned to get maximum BHP from the car , it was det limited so I know it wont take any more ignition timing. The difference in figures was just how different dyno's read and the wheel to flywheel calculation is used.
  15. Abbey Motorsport figure is at the hubs (bhp) the difference on flywheel torque is on the Dynapack the flywheel torque is calculated from dividing the hub torque by the overall final drive ratio to get a flywheel figure. Peter 464 bhp was a hub figure not a Flywheel figure.
  16. You can see if the car been mapped but you cant pull a map from a car already tuned; If we dont have the original map we have to start from scratch.
  17. Looks like I will be off to Ireland to carry out some UPREV tuning at TDP early Decemeber.
  18. go and see Paul @ TDi North if your in Cheshire.
  19. Yes we aren't the cheapest but I think we do a better job than most people; Had a count up today over 300 cars tuned with Uprev software. Servicing it is only Tuesday today had 5 350 Zeds through the doors @ Abbey for work; Any questions ask away
  20. Non resonated 370Z system with stock cats. Let me know if you need to discuss anything Darren sold over 20 systems with no quibbles.
