Decided against Valiant as I had heard of two cases of bad radio interference (I do Ham radio when snowed in !).
Had a Viesmann condensing boiler fitted instead. Very pleased with boiler, but had a problem with the amount of hot water.
It turned out that new boilers do not like some old hot water cylinders. The old ones do not have enough turns on the heating
coil to transfer the heat from the primary circuit into the domestic hot water. The symptoms are that when heating only the water
the boiler throttles back to soon.
Fitting a new cylinder cured the problem and we survived the recent cold spell with plenty of heating and hot water.
Total cost boiler, cylinder and system power flush - £2,800.

My Wife (who knows about these things) did some research before buying a reader.
She brought a Sony, and is very pleased with it. Others with alternative readers when they see it say that they wish they had brought the Sony.
The real decider as far as I can understand was that with the Sony you could import books from many different sources, whereas with the Kindle you are somewhat restricted (Amazon only, I think).
You definitely don't want one that has a keyboard, as it just takes up space and serves no real purpose.
Hope this helps...

Up for renewing my insurance. 64, full no claims for myself and 'er indoors, no points,<8k/year, garaged.
Chris Knott wanted £606, Priviledge (Direct Line) £535. WTF...
Staying with Saga £435...Even that's taking the P***.

Friends of my wife bought a brand new MX5 without even sitting in one, she liked the colour.
Now they have it, he finds that with his bad back he can't get in or out ...

The product that caught my eye was :-
Silencer - Full Spectrum Cellphone Jammer (CDMA + GSM + 3G)
Just try getting one of those into the country !
Ofcom will let in all sorts of products that mess up the airwaves, but not jammers as they could reduce the revenue of the phone service providers. Double standards !
I will now get off my horse, and back into my Z...

Many thanks... some good tips here.
It looks like a trim removal tool would make the job much easier, so I will see if there are any on eBay.
Cheers

I think that I have finally tracked down a noise that has been bugging me for some time. I found that I could stop it by throwing a coat over the Rear Strut Brace Cover. I think that the cover is rattling, but just to be sure I would like to remove it, and look inside for anything else that might be loose.
I have had a look at the technical bulletins, but they seem to indicate virtually all of the rear trim must be removed to gain access to the strut. Is this so, or is there a simpler way in ?
It's an 08 Coupe.
Cheers

Hi,
I have the best of both worlds.
My wife has a Golf GTI which she lets me drive, and I have a 350Z which only I drive !
As for the poor standard ICE, there are lots of options to replace it - just do a search.
I fitted a small PC in the rear cubby and a touchscreen in the front one. This way I can have mp3, dvd's and Sat Nav all in one unit.

Fitted 20mm spacers front and back on my 08 Coupe about 2months ago. The only change I have noticed is a slight increase in understeer, but I can live with that given the way it now looks...
