  1. American TV seems to love blue Zeds. Here's one in Eastbound & Down, comedy series by and with Danny McBride
  2. TBH Dazzler I never had one fitted on my Zed, ive not heard of any complaints and sold dozens but im sure someone will come along and comment If you're hearing stones tapping against it, then I'd try braking earlier to avoid ending up in the gravel trap
  3. If you're a dumb american, you can get two iPads and make a Zombie costume.....
  4. Swap the Macro lens for a standard 18-55mm one then..... Had this one on for a long time, Nismo Aluminium one Recently swapped over to the Nismo Titanium one (This isn't my pic tho, just stole it off the net cos I cba to run out and take one...)
  5. Can I be part of your phone support? All you have to say is "Have you tried turning the monitor off? Problem usually goes away"
  6. Im sorry BM but thats so good Im going to have to steal that. You're more than welcome
  7. +1 on the Last Touch, really helps if the wax happens to dry on.
  8. I usually say one of the following: - A Zed - A 350Z - A Datsun - A Micra Sport Coupe
  9. The wash itself isn't the time consuming part, it's more the clay barring, polishing, waxing and sealing that takes up most of the time, and more importantly how fussy you are with the finish. Basic wash for me, including polish and wax, personally takes about 3 hours.
  10. 37 Y/old dock worker (Biggest container port in the UK)
  11. Sponge? SPONGE?!?!?!? Please desist from using a sponge and switch to a washmitt, that will be the first step to avoiding scratches. Sponges tend to push dirt particles into the paintwork, thus causing scratches, a washmitt picks those particles up avoiding scratches. Snowfoam helps pull down the initial layer of dirt and debis, thus reducing the amount of particles that could potentially cause scratching.
  12. Like Keyser said, just run down half a tank like a granny and then top up with V-Power. Don't waste your money on octane boosters, save that cash towards the V-Power Strike isn't on the boards anyway, it was only the government playing mind games to boost end of financial year revenue
  13. You sure it wasn't the amount of beers you consumed rather than what bubble bath she used?
  14. No it's not just in your head. If the regular Shell is 95 RON then it will feel minutely sluggish. Just make sure you run 97RON or above you fill up next time, which you will anyway from what you are saying. Only prolonged exposure to 95 RON will cause deterioration to the engine (see thread by Abbey MS)
  15. Will you be doing something like club profiles? Like a spotlight on a club in each episode?
  16. On advice from Tim @ Envy Valeting, I mix the snow foam detergent with cold water. Got a Karcher K2 myself and my mate had the same issue as you whilst having a Karcher also. He cleaned the lance nozzle out and it made foam again. Personally I have the adjuster knob on minimum water mix.
  17. Local Morrisons... People queueing for petrol... ...whilst tanker truck is refilling the forecourt.
  18. Now I love a good conspiracy theory Said something similar back on page 3, there may be some truth in that I reckon.
  19. Hmmm, ok we can't increase fuel by 3p just yet, it will upset the great unwashed. Oh, let's instigate a panic and get a massive hike in sales so we get our fuel duty blood money that way. And then sneak in the 3p increase over the next financial year. That's what I think is going on. Strangely, all the Shell stations we're closed yesterday, seemingly out of fuel, yet a Sainsburys across the street from a Shell still had fuel as did various other petrol stations in my area. I have a feeling that they will miraculously have fuel when the panic reaches a peak along with the prices.
  20. Sold the Pioneer F900BT then I take it Dave?
  21. Thanks for the advice people, I have passed it on. My bros GF has told me since that when she called Apple, they didn't mention the iTunes thing when they spoke, so she will speak to them again.
  22. Yes, my bro already called Apple and it seems that they cannot trace it live, guess they could trace the serial and try tracking it via iTunes
  23. Just a heads up. If somebody in Glasgow gets offered a first generation iPad with 3G, please take a picture of the person on your camera phone and show it to the police. Over the weekend my brother was helping my dad move down to Ipswich from Glasgow, so we can keep a closer eye on him as his medical condition isn't optimal. Whilst loading the van with my fathers belongings from the rear, an oppertunistic scumbag stole my brothers girlfriends handbag from the vans cab. It contained her purse, house keys and said iPad. Cards have been cancelled and locks have been replaced. For the IT superbrains out there, is it possible to trace the iPads MAC address from the iPads serial number? My bro did say that he did not activate the "Find My iPad" function.
  24. Holy Cr@p, I've seen those on tumble dryers, no wonder they get the clothes dry so quick, it's not magic afterall...
