  1. I wouldn't say that at all, they are expensive but not OTT for road use. When you start getting into BBK stuff then that's overkill IMHO, but a seriously good set of discs and pads in OEM sizes aren't. I was just thinking price wise really, now that a Zed could be worth about £6k spending over £1k just on front disks & pads does seem overkill for me that's all unless, you regularly throw it round a track of course Dave, have you sat down yet and totted up what you spent so far since buying the car itself (minus consumables of course)? I have started to develop fits of amnesia as I know the total spent on mods is approaching purchase price of the car, so.....
  2. Judging from their Welcome Letter, they are so fast, they can go back in time to do installations
  3. PF are very, very good.....with a price tag to match Performance Friction, UK Carbon Metallic House Wildemere Road Banbury, Oxon OX16 3LU http://www.uksales@performancefriction.com Tel: +44(0) 1295 221 020 Fax:(0)1295 279711
  4. Just for reference, my genuine ChargeSpeed side skirts and rear spats were a perfect fit out the box Bizarre, I wonder if it's because Taras's car was HR? I know the chassis didn't change, but just maybe there were some slight alterations? ChargeSpeed do the Bottom Line kit in two versions, pre and post facelift, so perhaps there is a difference, albeit a minor one.

  6. Gold ones are drilled and grooved, black ones are grooved only. The Ferodo DS2500 pads are a good choice too. I think the black ones will suit you and save you £50
  7. Braking is usually balanced 60% front and 40% rear. Braking is mainly at the front so it's a good idea to upgrade while replacing. You have a wealth of choice out there. CS can supply DBA at a good price. Don't make your choice based on colour tho, just match it to your driving style. You won't need a disc more siuted to track driving when you don't do track work. Give Mitz a call and he'll see you right. Myself I have Dixcel discs (6 groove) which were sourced via Dixon at DMS Motorsport.
  8. Alternatively, look at Nitrac or HiSpec http://www.nitrac.co.uk/ http://www.hispecbrake.co.uk/
  9. Best thing for that is getting a scalpel from a hobby/model shop. Local one sold one and spare blades for a fiver. When wrapping near or around small switches, I'd rather trim the vinyl to the edge of the opening rather than try and wrap around the edge. it will lift as the edge is small and you can't make a flap on the other side large enough to stop it from lifting. Yeah I had all the tools but unfortunately the biggest tool was doing the wrapping It looked a bit too shiny anyway and I had second thoughts halfway through doing it so really it was just an excuse to get angry and screw it all up.... Funnily enough the same kind of thing happened earlier, I got 3 screen protectors for my tablet for £3 off fleabay ( i know ) and all 3 ended up screwed up into a ball I don't think I have EVER managed to get one of those things to go on a phone or tablet perfectly without any bubbles or little bits of fluff underneath.... Every one of your attempts has been foiled...

  11. As some of you noticed on Facebook, I attemped a re-skin a couple of days ago.......with bad results after an incident involving superglue. Skinned it ok, but while putting it all back together, some superglue managed to get on my finger which then touched the vinyl In a rage I ripped it all off and went away to calm down Called rtbiscuit to see if he had any more CF vinyl in and I was in luck. Settled down to night to give it another go. And it begins... All skinned... All back together with no issues... And back in the Zed
  12. shame it's white....hehe it's a nice subtle item tho
  13. If it is the wheels and you fancy a DIY.... MightyCarMods to the rescue
  14. My guess is they have prioritising diesel then unleaded and then bugger those who need the high octane A gamble that has led many £'s going Tescos way....oh well Shell, maybe next time Oh and I might add that at my local Tesco, Momentum was priced at 1.43, thought I was misreading, but it was true....
  15. Was prolly not as bad as this roll.....(@ 1:05)
  16. My bro suggested another reason why there may be a shortage of V-Power. Remember back when Morrisons had an issue with their fuel and it caused some damage to customers cars? Perhaps Shell have made a faulty batch of V-Power and thus are currently making more to replace the stock that would have been delivered to the petrol stations....
  17. Better Quality here... http://www.streetfire.net/video/mitsubi ... 191182.htm
  18. It has been done... That's not the Hexis Alligator vinyl tho, right? I looked at the Hexis colourcards and it doesn't look like that, unless its a new-ish product or prototype. EDIT: Nevermind, found it, film is made by Dartz and is Snake Skin
  19. Where's the birthday discounts thread? Have a good one
  20. Advice I was given about Poorboys Wheel Sealant: Apply first coat, leave for 15 - 20 mins, then buff off. Apply second coat, leave for 30 mins, then buff off. Apply third coat, leave overnight, then buff off. You will find that with each coat, it gets a little bit more slippery Once the coats are on, it's just a simple matter of taking a microfibre and giving it a quicj wipe after a days drive until the next proper clean. Hope this helps
  21. Thank you admin team for taking the time on Easter Weekend to sort it out
