It was the worry of putting whats basically sandpaper to my rare bonnet, having never done anything like it before See that would worry me a lot too! I guess after it has been flattened back with the wet 'n dry the compound you used was some special polishing compound to restore the lacquer using a electric polisher or something? impressed with how well it came up Thanks, yes once flattened with the W&D I used Meguiars Ultimate Compound. Although I do have a DA polisher, I decided to do it by hand because I wanted more "feel".
