  1. Perhaps running a fresh bead of silicone where the old one has perished while the light is off the car
  2. Top Tip with water butt: Where the drainpipe feeds the water butt, cover the pipe end with a stocking to act as a filter.
  3. Tested my Kärcher Pressure Washer with it too and it works flawlessly. Pump has enough head pressure to let me use snowfoam
  4. I got one of these for my water butt http://www.karcheroutlet.co.uk/products ... sp?id=4982 Best £40 I spent this year, still waiting on vigilante neighbours to approach, just so I can show them to the water butt and see the look on their faces, lol
  5. "Expreme Ti"? Is that a spelling mistake or.....
  6. ThAt will be fine, I`d try that before wet & dry, depends how deep the damage is Yeah, already tried that, but it didn't help as the etching is such that it feels rough to the touch and certainly visible to the naked eye. Thus the decision to use the wet & dry. There will prolly be a thread about it, so I can stop hijacking this awesome thread
  7. Thanks Darren Got Megs Ultimate Compound, hope that's not too harsh
  8. Initial filler was ripped back with 120 then onto 240 all dry sanded Machine sanded with 320 before first primer coat. More filling to do yet then another 320 - 400 wet sand before the next coat of HB primer - if that looks good then 600/800 sand before first colour coat. Not 100% sure what paint system I'll be using yet though! Ah ok, just asking, cos I'll be attacking my CF bonnet with 2000 grit W&D to smooth the surface where birdshit has eaten into the toplayer, hope it's gonna be fine, just bricking it at the mo before actually commiting to the job, but then again, I did take a Dremel to it when fitting the Aerocatch Bonnet Pins.....
  9. Again, check with Tarmac or alternatively, check his website here: http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/350z-invi ... tem-1.aspx You'll be looking at £899 for the Invidia Gemini btw
  10. What grit wet and dry did you use for initial sand and then fine sand?
  11. Guys, just ask Tarmac, since he does supply Invidia items thru his store.
  12. It's taken you six months to install them? Surely it's not that complicated Put some pics up when finished please
  13. what is our club name down as on this as i cant see it ... am i just being rather dumb! I believe we are there as part of The Z Club, in Area B
  14. Or you could get yourself some wing piping http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/c-296-pvc-piping.aspx
  15. Imagine the door handles to be an absolute PITA to do. You'd have to take them off the doors and disassemble them do achieve a good finish.
  16. You'll have to get through the lacquer first before you'll be taking the paint off, so don't worry just yet
  17. Also check under the dash on the passenger side. Read on US forums that the airbag mounting bracket can develop a squeak which is fixed by tightening the bolts on the bracket.
  18. I think it looked really good Did you remove the door pillar surrounds like the guide? Is it advisable to tell the insurance company as well or is there no need to worry? didn't tell the insurance company, since it's not a power mod or anything like a body modification. Yes, also took A-Pillar covers off for easier wrapping
  19. RTbiscuit and I did my roof in about two hours, but that was without a heatgun or hairdryer, hence why it's not perfect, but will do for me. You saw how it looked at the Chilli's Mod Day
  20. Oh yeah, lapping CPU's to a mirror finish is still practiced by seasoned overclockers and modders
  21. Still running coax from the cab in my case. I don't tend to bite, but that's comes from working amongst dockers for the past eight years
  22. I have the i5 2500 and am well pleased with it, best bang for buck imo. I was eyeing up the base level i7 but couldn't justify spending up to an additional £100 for little gain. This was fitted onto a Asus Sabertooth P67 mobo and am running 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM. Still running an older GTX 470 gfx card from EVGA, but it is the HydroCopper version which comes with a waterblock already fitted. My CPU under load stays a cool 35C and the GFX doesn't see any temps past 40C when pushed
