  1. If they are old and deaf, they might get flashbacks and dive for cover from the Messerschmidts.
  2. Yeah, mine has a 58mm thread
  3. Virgin for me also. Switched from BT ADSL which became worse and worse. On 60 Meg and can't fault it. Normal browsing and gaming (on PS3 & PC) is fine. Yes there is a download cap at peak times, but considering that downloads come down real fast I don't mind it (cap is lifted after 9pm everyday) I grab a movie of say 4GB in about 5mins, which is a lot better than when I was on ADSL, which would have taken a couple of hours. Also hear that Virgin are upgrading their networks again for a double up in speed later this year, so I should get at least 100 Meg at no extra charge
  4. Oh oh oh, interesting. Any teasers on this? Some say... there was a jet fighter in surrey... all we know is that it's coming soon. So it flames and goes WHOOOOSH? What payload has it got? Anything decent to take out obstructions like idiot motorists?
  5. Ah nice, added to watch list
  6. What camera do you have? If you shoot in RAW and not JPEG you have much more control over how to process the final image, where you can add what affect you like. However you will need a good photo editing software to do it. Failing that, I am sure you can buy a "screw on" fish eye adaptor for your current lens. Just a entry level Canon 1100D with standard 18 - 55mm lens and a Sigma 70 - 300mm Did get one of them screw on jobs off eBay but it isn't fisheye enough if you get what I mean
  7. I also know a chap that does refurb for £50 a corner, that's including splitting them. Sure it will mean cleaning and waxing them very regularly, but surely that will be worth doing
  8. What would you guys suggest for taking pics with the "fisheye" effect? Budget and full lens options welcome.
  9. Not wanting to sound insensitive, but how heavy are you? You know, if everything on the car checks out.....
  10. You gotta strip, clean and re-paint the rear calipers to match the fronts
  11. Very nice, always good to get a bargain and make them looking bling bling again.
  12. Originally, I watched this vid without sound (at work) and I thought the driver was getting arrested for crimes against fashion, haha
  13. In the first sentence Terry, lol
  14. It's the gel coat that's applied on top of the CF. I have those cracks too from nudging a kerb once and leaving a multi storey with a steep exit. Used to bother me a bit but now just look past it. You could try sanding it back with fine wet and dry, say 1200 grit, until smooth and then do a few coats of lacquer.
  15. It's one thing trying to escape a fine, but running a cop over is not the way, lol
  16. My fav Beach Volleyballer at the mo Marta Menegatti
  17. Yeah, RaceUnion, used to be able to be used anywhere and then you could map a course and then send challenges to your friends. I guess they figured out it could be incriminating evidence, haha
  18. TrackTutor App for iPhone is what I have Also RaceUnion App which uses GPS to determine where you are on track and built in timer (You can even put in make and model of car)
  19. Sticker kits from magazines. Saw a Saxo a while back that had the stickers running down the door reading GReddy HKS NOS Apexi Just rolled my eyes at the ignorance
  20. Whoever bought them and wants the lips re-chromed might be disappointed as the lips are polished to a mirror finish and then anodised at the factory. Not sure whether chroming would be possible after that.
  21. Just need a couple of spot welds to the inner skin of the tips to stop rattle. I'd be surprised if you had to spend more than a fiver if anything at all.
  22. If its a budget purely to win your competition, then I suggest thinking outside the box. Go into the nearest town to The Ring and book the most attractive hooker you can find for the afternoon you are going on track. Get her to flash the other drivers in full nudity and you should secure yourself a good laptime
