  1. Yeah, should be ok with a 700+W PSU. I've been running my rig off a Antec Quarttro 850W modular PSU. Dedicated 12v rails for mobo and GFX. I run aforementioned CPU on an Asus Sabertooth P67 Mobo with 16GB of Vengeance RAM, GFX is an older GTX470 from EVGA (HydroCopper version). The PSU also powers six harddrives, two 18w water pumps and 12x 120mm fans
  2. I'm running a i5 2500K overclocked to 4.01GHz Make sure theres a decent power supply unit to power it all. Cheap PSU's can usually lead to poor performance.
  3. I like self built, if only for the reason of knowing what's inside the box and that it's been built with care and attention rather than rolling off an assembly line.
  4. I have used the Comma Cleaner just a week ago. It's not a harsh chemical smell afterwards. Just a Frebreeze kind of smell
  5. Comma Air Con Cleaner available at Halfords (procedure as mentioned by Lexx) Also, if there is smell of a previous smoker trapped in the headliner/fabrics, what is also believed to help is a bowl of vinegar left in the passenger footwell overnight.
  6. Fantastic stuff. You Sir are a petrolheads dream dad
  7. The one I had before has been recycled to hold my parking permit for work, which is the same size as a tax disc
  8. Changed my old style Richbrook disc holder to a Hong Kong style one my bro got me while he was there Before After
  9. Yet it is the only thing between your car and the road.... I wonder when Dan is gonna post here
  10. Any car that has a PCD of 114.2 will fit
  11. One way to eliminate the rattle is to have the inside skin on the exhaust tips tack welded inside the rolled lip. It's prolly not the prettiest of solutions, but it will eliminate the rattle.
  12. Yeah....they be a bunch of dumb people that watch too many action movies and think guns are cool
  13. Remember, it's America...where even a dumb person can buy a firearm If they hadn't been shot, how would they have deceased? Good detective skills there...
  14. I think Abbey managed to utilise the Cruise Control buttons to control the multi maps without losing the ability for cruise control. Best wait for Marks response
  15. The rattle is the inside skin of the exhaust tips, they go loose over time thus producing the rattle, once warmed up it goes away as it expands with heat. As to the noise, I don't have that on mine...
  16. Absolutely NOT normal! My K1, when I had it didn't even touch the cross brace. Just shows the consistency of JapSpeeds work....
  17. You can also try Autofit on Britannia Road, Ipswich, they have worked on my car before, mostly tyres, MOT's and exhaust swaps.
  18. It was 2004 wasn't it? so it prolly just got realeased or was about to. But then her drawing skills were on par with the girl out of 200MPH, lol
  19. Twobears has no hairy legs, no facial hair, but can testify that the silver tipped badger hair is the softest. How did you come to that conclusion? I bet you used it to........ .....tickle the tip of your nose...right?
  20. Actually....I have mirror polished dishes, so........
  21. I'd imagine they'd get pretty dirty pretty quick in our climate. Not to mention the cops this mod will attract
  22. Seen this a few months back. What they do is fabricate a metal ring just a tad bigger than the brake disc and weld it with round bar to the shock or brakedust shield and then mount high power LED chains to it. Looks cool for about five mins I guess... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGkj1n3Tifs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RErEkGO09kY
  23. This should restore balance to te force...
  24. Team AFM in Martleshan seem to be good according to rtbiscuit, and then there's GBH Motorsport in Langham near Colchester (They have a Zed owner on their books) and then we go further south. DMS in Erith, whom I have used myself before, great service and good price too (if i remember correctly, Dixon did me a P3 for £350-ish, all fluids included)
