  1. Doesn't even come close to a white Nismo 370z imho. And I'm not just saying that as a blindly loyal Zed owner. Looks wise there's nothing really memorable or special. Even prefer the Nismo rims, both MK1 and mk2 rims are more special.
  2. Reminds me of the old Z3M coupe. Haven't seen one of those in years........were meant to be quite good if I remember correctly.
  3. According to Fitment Industries across the pond, your ideal first car isn't a Corsa or Polo but a 280bhp rwd Zed! Goto 8m 10s Insurance companies would laugh at that choice here.......ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK
  4. Welcome to the OC Always good to see another zed go to an enthusiastic and caring owner.
  5. Welcome to the OC. Be sure to post up before and after pics
  6. A pic of the whole zed after the Tripple plus C2V3
  7. For the cost of a few quid and less dust.....yes. But no harm in using SRP. I did the Zed with SRP 2 months ago and it cleans well but imho doesn't fill as well. Tried Prima Amigo side by side with the Tripple and the Tripple outgunned the Prima Amigo for filling and gloss too.
  8. Here's a pic to show how much I used. Drawn a little black mark above the label indicating how much is left in the 250ml bottle. I reckon I've used about 1/10th to do the whole zed.
  9. I do indeed. Primary school children point and shout "Lamborghini!" at my 14 yr old zed. It's not even a 370z let alone a Nismo 370. But even my old 350z gets it so I can only imagine the attention yours gets!
  10. I bought 250ml of this a while back from Eurocarparts for a fiver. An All In One product similar to Autoglym SRP that has a little cut, cleansing power and fillers. Used it today on the zed with the help of a cheap eBay pad and an old cordless drill. I have a basic random orbital machine but felt like a wire free day and the drill can go at a lower speed which feels safer for me when using a new to me product. I worked on small 2ft by 2ft sections at a time, only spending about 1 min on each before buffing off. AF Tripple buffs off easy, and doesn't have the dusting issues that Autoglym SRP has. Hides minor blemishes well. Won't remove any deaper defects. The Zed's paint is in quite good condition but the rear hatch always gets alot of abuse as it's always the dirtiest and every time I open the boot, my thumb rubs the paint below the rear badge. Even worse as I haven't fixed the need to double click to open the boot which sometimes sees me using one hand to click the release and the other to lift the boot meaning MORE finger contact and swirls! Anyway, onto pics. I left the left side below the badge untouched after washing and just gave the right side 2 passes with the AF Tripple. Flickr is misbehaving, click above on "Auto Finesse Tripple" for video, then back page, then click again and video should play. Not perfect or a true correction, but a definite improvement for very little cash, time or effort.

    Wax

I literally JUST finished using AF Tripple on my Zed. Will post up my findings in a bit. Great All In One product. Good paint cleanser, small degree of polishing and fillers to hide the uncorrected swirls. With a machine it was very quick to use. Literally about a minute per 2ft square section saw good results. No dusting issues like Autoglym SRP. HOWEVER...... I've read the durability is not up there with other hard wearing waxes so have topped it with a coat of Gtechniq C2V3 which is so fast to use it's like wiping water over the paint then wiping off (no real buffing was needed) Other waxes will most definitely outlast Tripple, but I don't think they'll be as glossy if you have any swirls. The Bolt Hamber has a good following as does Fusso Soft99 Whatever you get, don't get too hung up on whether you got THE BEST as there is never a universally accepted best. Just enjoy the process and look forward to detailing your zed again.
  12. Welcome to the OC Great to see another Nismo join the forum. Must be attracting alot of admiring glances in that
  13. Eurocarparts have 50% off brakes at the moment. Brembo discs and pads available for about £300 delivered.
  14. The zed in the opening represented the 350z well. Even without an extravagant kit. Just awesome rims and a drop.........so clean. The white 370 was sweet too
  15. Had new Brembo discs and pads recently fitted. One of the rears has lost the rubber grommet. Pics below show one with grommet in place and one missing. I considered plugging the hole with a haribo but thought better ask you guys what's it's proper name and where is the best place to get a replacement
  16. I've seen this on a Zed and it looks absolutely gorgeous. The tips are heavenly with discrete and classy branding. The back box has a lovely Nismo embossed on it. Sounds a little deeper than stock but not brash or OTT. Good luck with your hunt and post up pics and video when you get one
  17. Wow. That's one mean zed there. Proper wideness and road presence
  18. Wow......that fabric is ultra mega hydrophobic. You're rivaling even Illogical and Lewis. Schwier with those spheres
  19. I always found the Brabus Smart Roadster/coupe pretty cool for a small car. A bit more manly than a Diahatsu Copen (which I am also strangely drawn to ) ....... just checked and the Copen IS coming back https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motor-shows/daihatsu-copen-return
  20. Don't see many mk1s. Loving the MK1 rims........and dat rear
  21. That's proper slammed! The reflections in your paint are just as awesome as your drop
