  1. Many thanks to MattG for recommending Tim at Trilogy in Stalybridge/Manchester Wanted to bin the Bose for ages but feared taking the zed to a place that had no "ZED EXPERIENCE". Went to Trilogy today having ordered all the relavent accessories listed in the guide. Even brought a printout off the ICE guide in case Tim forgot how to work on the zed My fears were unfounded as he started dismantling the dash/installing so smoothly and efficiently as if he'd done hundreds of zeds. Took him about an hour including some soldering to hook up the steering wheel adaptor as the unit INCARTEC sent wasn't plug and play DAB unit works a treat. Reception is A1 in Manchester. Windscreen mounted DAB aeriel is visable but discreet but a small price to pay to recieve BBC1Xtra and CHOICE BOSE IS GONE
  2. Almost overlooked this thread Got my vote in
  3. Love the first 2 pics. Paint is "ON FIRE" Bumper looks more aggressive too
  4. If you haven't decided on a colour by 18 July, pop down to the Manchester Krispy Kreme's meet to see different colours in the flesh and say hello viewtopic.php?f=86&t=36793
  5. You make "maintenance and repair" work so simple. Very envious of your skills
  6. Lovely transformation Thanks for sharing. Most friends don't understand the buzz I get from a good detailing session. I can only describe it to them as getting that new car feeling but they still find it abnormal. Maybe I'll show them your transformation to win the arguement
  7. Happy birthday! An easy date for of to remember in future coz it's my dad's birthday too. Post up if you treated yourself to anything interesting/zed related.
  8. Another cause i found was the plastic trim around the tools rubbing against the spare wheel coz I didn't put things back properly
  9. Had to see it to believe it
  10. Pics an old one before I fitted the rear LEDS but one of my little compact cameras better efforts.
  11. 1. Clicky axles 2. Boot struts 3. Tailgate "double click" syndrome 4. Corrosion level at flange between back box and mid pipe Other niggles in the guides section but all minor
  12. I lurrrv the interior of the 370z. A huge leap ahead of the 350z. Happy hunting
  13. Well done on your purchase Had many visits to Manchester eye hospital few years back Whilst there injuries i saw were from seamingly harmless events like snapping some bramble and a splinter flying into the eye. Most common is actually babies accidently scratching parents eyeballs. Scariest thing was waiting to see the consultant and the guy before me breaking down in tears being led out of the office with his head burried in his hands ........then being called in "NEXT PLEASE" . Thought I was gonna lose my eye.
  14. Bimbo takes her car to the garage. Mechanic fixed it in 2 mins. "Nothing serious luv, just sh$t in the filter" "OK" she said "and how often do I have to do that?"
  15. Love how your zed looks in the 2nd pic

  17. Car looks very tidy Black touches complimenting the lovely tints.
  18. I read this topic on my350z.com here http://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-driv ... -info.html Very informative, backed up by lab analysis of the used oils indicating which oil used, miles done and standard or modified engines. Lots of good oils to choose from. CAUTION over 900 pages Mobil 1 0w40 did quite well. Surprisingly Mobil 1 5w30 didn't despit 5w30 being our recommended viscosity. Apparently the 5w30 is a totally different blend
  19. Looks great With the car looking so neglected was the paint badly swirled? For example a car scrubbed once a year with a sponge would probably be less swirled than one done weekly the same way? Ps anyone know what the bracket under the back box is?
  20. +1 on L&G I even take the wife's mini there for it's MOT
  21. When I used to go to the city centre I used to park in the PICADILLY HOTEL underground car park. There were plenty of larger than average bays to avoid "dings". Was a little more pricey than street bays but was worth it for peace of mind. About a 10 min walk from the station bang in the middle of Manchester Piccadilly. The ramp was long and mild. No issues with my Nismo V1 nose on standard suspension. Only thing is I'm not sure if it they close the access at night. Would have offered to meet up and babysit the zed for you and but my inlaws just arrived from Hong Kong so might be too preoccupied "entertaining" them to oblige
  22. Very authentic right down to the coin slot I wonder how much money it could bring in in £1 coins over a nights usage in the right location
  23. Sad news. Gonna miss you and your Avatar
  24. Would never have thought you've only been into detailing for 2 yrs with a collection like that.
