  1. love the pic of the door......looks flawless and ding free.
  2. Making good use of the fine weather.......great job Must be all the more satisfying that you did the brakes yourself.
  3. There is a very ineresting thread on the my350z.com forum put together by RESOLUTE. Guys over the pond have been collating oil analysis of their used oils to determine how well they perform, and which is better under what conditions for standard or modded engines No hearsay or brand snobbery....just the facts. READ AT YOUR PERIL, AS IT WILL TAKE YOU WEEKS TO GO THROUGH IT ALL http://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-driv ... -info.html
  4. Just another possibility. I had a rattle from the rear that ended up being plastic trim/bits around the spare wheel under the boot floor. Good luck hunting........very frustrating I know
  5. Last pic is my favourite of the bunch
  6. Borrowed from another forum but I now appreciate the work that goes into a QUALITY job http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/s ... p?t=162503
  7. WD 40 Got mine pristine before taking it for a new tyre. They sometimes use a wire brush to clean customers rims before sticking new weights on But then you should see the state of some of the rims that come in
  8. Used the same wax too. Thin coats. One panel at a time and buff immediately.
  9. Had similar hail in Manchester on Thursday Was scared it would give the zed paint a "golfball" finish The vid's not half bad considering your makeshift camera stand. People always tell me how poor the iphone's camera/vid is, but looks good to me
  10. Hope it's all sorted in time for JDM Allstars
  11. I reckon the white highlights would really finish it off a treat
  12. Sounds good . Never seen a 300c up close. Don't know about when though. Loads on for the next month or so unless it's another weekday evening once baby is asleep might have to plan well in advance. Your little one sending you out for doughnuts already Enjoy every moment. Time goes sooooo fast. Bella is 1 and 1/2 now. The baby stage has come and gone in a blink of an eye. A proper little toddler now who's favourite word is NO .
  13. I reckon It's because most of them are so blacked out you can't see them waving. But then you can't beat that blacked out look on a black 300c. They pull it off better than a Bently IMHO
  14. YOU JINXED ME! Found another screw in my new tyre today Only 2 months old as it replaced an old tyre damaged BY A SCREW What's worse is I was in Tescos joking on my mobile with a friend how it might be vandalism and i need me a button on the keyfob. Push said button. Boot pops open. Midget jumps out with a stool. Sits next to the zed guarding it til I return . Look behind me and guess who's staring back at me looking MEGA P$SSED A MIDGET What's the chances of that happening and getting a screw in the tyre on the same day
  15. Why do screws ALWAYS end up at the EDGE of the tyre Out of my last 6 encounters with screws only 1 was repairable. Last one was only 2 months ago and I had 1/2 tread left Need a magnet mod on the front bumper to catch the pesky blighters before getting reaching the tyres.
  16. Great job Your avatar makes me chuckle too
  17. Would be great to meet a fellow Mancunian. Hope you get squeezed in Pete. Andy
  18. Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen the footage
  19. Love the look of sunset orange.....especially at SUNSET Nice to have you on board. from a fellow sunsetter
  20. Yippeeee Always nice to drop off a clean zed to a garage. Shows it in all it's glory and also easier to spot any accidental damage inflicted during it's stay
  21. That was a close call! Must be a good feeling to escape after coming so close to letting the zed speed off. Had a close one when the road was clear but my zed's been poorly running with a screw in the tyre. Past the bushes at 5mph below the 40 limit to see a radar on a tripod locked onto me. Guy must have been so disappointed that I was going so slow Made me feel good for the rest of the day
  22. Even if a tyre shop said it's OK I'd change it for peace of mind anyway. You'll always have it niggling at the back of your mind and end up pootling about for fear of a dreaded POP
