  1. Ferodos might be OK to use up on a track day: http://cgi.ebay.co.u...em=130980801287 Pagids to get through MOT? http://cgi.ebay.co.u...em=130980803862
  2. Does it have the chassis number on little hologram stickers on the edges of body panels - i.e. inside boot, inside door shuts nr catch, underside of bonnet etc? This is the easy way to tell if any panels have been replaced, as you can't replace these (without, I imagine some difficultly in sourcing replicas).
  3. Now sold, this forum is an awesome resource for all things Z and the buyer saw this ad
  4. Thanks - I live 15 miles from Lancaster. If you are based in Glasgow as your name suggests then Lancaster is on the west coast mainline, 2hrs from Glasgow Central no changes and £31 for a ticket. I can meet anyone interested at the station if need be. Lancaster is also just 2.5hrs by Pendolino from London Euston if anyone from thereabouts is interested. Everybody is aware that Azure Blue is the best colour for a 350Z, just not everyone can admit it
  5. Thanks for the kinds words everyone, this car will be sorely missed. The Z ticks every box, noise, presence, handling, speed, looks, and very reasonable price. Why am I selling this again.....? Thanks a lot, my number has been added in now in an american style.... Cheers, Will.
  6. Now sold via contact made through this forum. Big thanks to the 350Z-UK.com community over the last 3 years!
  7. I just followed procedure here http://www.potholes....p_by_step_guide and they have coughed up without any fight. I don't think they knew about the pothole I hit until I reported it. I know this because i submitted an FOI request for inspections and complaints for the year prior to my incident and couldn't spot it.
  8. To update this I replaced the wheel with a mint used one from ebay (to minimise costs) and had the tyre swapped and a geo check. The council have covered these costs entirely (without any admission of liability) so it is well worth a claim if it happens to you,
  9. I got a pair of Apec front brake discs 18 months ago for my z for £85 delivered These are plain vented discs, no dimples or whirls, these I think: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4ac1aac98d I run them with EBC Yellow pads, which are much "dustier" than previous DS2500. 11000 miles later (only 1 trackday last year ) and they are going fine, however I'm not expecting them to last as long as the OE discs, but they wanted £500 for those. Braking performance I would say is not quite up to DS2500 + OE discs previous. probably down to the pads as much as the discs. The brakes are still utterly fantastic on road or track though
  10. Ferodo DS2500 are great, my car came with them. Then I fitted some cheap Pagid pads and they weren't up to much so didn't stay long. Now running EBC Yellow which are good for road use so far, but a bit dusty and definitely not as confidence inspiring as the DS2500.
  11. The amp in the boot, back left. The amp on my sub was fine, some need to wedge some card in if the sub drops out.
  12. Jeez thats not a pothole, its a crater! Well I've submitted a FOI request to find out if its been reported before and also reported it so they can fill it in. Plenty of pictures etc and measurements, if the tyre looks OK on the inside I will only be the cost of the used wheel + fitting out of pocket + someone might buy the old one off me for a few quid (as I believe it can be fixed, and it was mint pre damage).
  13. Well I've located a used rim at reasonable cost, and will have the tyre and the suspension inspected when its changed over, along with the geo check. I think this damage can be repaired fairly easily, but I'd prefer replacement. Just going to minimise expense and then submit a claim for the costs, means its more likely to get paid out and not so bad if it doesn't get paid.
