Il go easy on him kris- he's had the courage to go for a blue car so hat off for that
Black wheels have 2 problems- all the detail is lost and they also look smaller.
Something like anthracite or shadow chrome will give you a similar look but without losing the wheels
What he said
I don't get all the stigma about these being too underpowered- they're not pitched as performance cars they're designed to have fun. The ae86 was the same and now it's an icon
As dowcra mentioned they have the same ethos as an mx5 or clio cup- no big power but huge fun on track. Getting a cheaper one of these for track days isn't a bad option
Sad news mate but huge credit to you for being so upbeat about it
I think this is the first time most of us have read a thread about an engine going bang and the author having a laugh about it. Most people would be a bit gutted if their cheap track toy went bang but this is your pride and joy and your posing with a big cheesy grin lol
Fair play mate. Hope it gets easier from now
Nice....
Don't like the wheels and agree this look is getting a bit dated- the db9 was out around 10 years ago?
Looking forward to the new era of astons though
Did the silver lips on my shed. If you take your time and aren't fussed about a perfect finish then go for it
Only problem I had was it peeled after having a tyre changed but just added some more on top. Other wheels were pretty much perfect
Il be voting no. We have separate laws for various things, our own NHS system etc. At the moment we have the best of both so why change it?
The cost of starting a whole new country is so high that any potential funds/revenue will quickly be swallowed up
They're acting like it's a small business they're setting up not a country
Had my last 2 cars done. The zed was done by Paul who did loads of members cars. I done the skyline myself with the help of my cousin
As said splitting them takes time/patience and gives you sore fingers. Resealing them needs even more patience to prevent leaks. The results are worth it tho
If your cars a daily might be worth getting another set as a project then sell your existing ones once they've been swapped
Here's how mine turned out. More for the projectors but did some painting to freshen it up

My zed. Iv only owned 4 cars and been a named driver on 2 so not a huge car history but the zed was easily the pick of the bunch
Sold it 2 years ago and it's never been mentioned on here. No idea if it's still going or in car heaven
I think all the Scottish members knows of your dad's car lol
Welcome along. I remember when I first bought my azure, bog standard like yours with plenty of plans before I even got it. You'll enjoy it
I'd love to have the chance to build a house from scratch to our own requirements. Looking forward to see it develop
Is it gonna be a funky house like you see on tv??
Since when were we allowed to comment on these threads? Just realised it's got 4 pages
Neil huge credit to you and csmith in giving bizz a run for his money- a competition car built in the way he has done. I thought he would've ran away with it this month
I don't know what I'm more surprised at- how few votes amy has.... Or that someone had voted for AMT?
