Very sad day. As an Ex Prodrive employee, and my partner too, its very sad that someone has died in one of them cars. They are built very strong, and i know how much this would affect Prodrive employee's too. Very sad, and goes to show motorsport is dangerous.

Well i thought it was about time I posted up images of the aftermath of my stupid accident. Be warned,they are not very nice, and if you dont like that sort of thing, dont scroll down beyond the car picture. This is as the car was while i was waiting for the ambulance to arrive This is the result of my foot being dragged along the floor. This is the hole in my leg This is the back of my leg a week after And this is a week later when i had the dressing changed, and the wound cleaned up. Thankfully, i seem to be fine now, though obviously check the car to see if its in gear before i start the car and release the clutch.

I replaced the cup holder last year, and i know its not that. Its a really high frequeny rattle that appears to be coming from towards the top of the dash.

Anyone any ideas? Will that part of the dash come out so i can get behind it?

What/where are they from,look pretty good.

Put a numberplate on it yesterday morning, and pulled the wheels off and gave them a good scrub too. Looks amzing now, really happy.

Ah, i got the drivers side double switch, didnt bother with the passenger side one touch.

Have a really annoying rattle that appears to be coming from behind my passenger airbag. Is there a way of getting to this?

While i was waiting for the car to be finished in the bodyshop, i treated it to an import window switch(one touch up and down both sides), fitted it Friday, and found it does not work on the passenger side. Is there anything that can be done to make it work, or is it an issue with the ECU or something?

Well, finally the wait is over! After my embarrising accident on the thursday before the Easter weekend, i picked my Zed up on Friday. First thing it needed was fuel, but after that, its been great to have the car back. First impressions (if you can call them that) are how snug the cabin feels compared to the hatchback i was driving in, and how heavy the steering feels, but the gearshift feels great, and i love the power all the way through the rev range. The bodyshop has done a brilliant job i think, and the blending with the rest of the car is seemless, apart from the rear bumper, which apparently has been sprayed before. But you have to be really looking, and it could be just the plastic/metal comparisons. Sounds really good too, I forgot just how good a sports exhaust sounds on these. My only regret, is hot having the money to get the whole car painted, as the old/new is very evident with the lack of stone chips etc, but as im getting married in a couple of months, il wait until next year to do that i think. Very happy to have the car back!

Could you not reply with "iv never been refused car insurance" You are not being dishonest, you are telling the truth.

Avoid Sky BB, its rubbish. We have a "deal" through work, HD package only,phone and BB, and its £45 a month i think. Not sure if thats good or bad, but the BB is bad.

Chris, is that including P+P, and is it a straight fit? cant afford it at the moment, but would be nice at some point

Adrian, are the rears true coilovers or have you gone for oem uprated? Seen alot about true coilovers not really doing the car any favours unless you beef up the struts or something

Im pretty much back to full health. Kneeling down is a little uncomfotable, as the slim bone under my knee is still swollen, but all else is fine. Cant wait to get the car back now, really missed it the passed week or so with all this good weather we have had.

Well, its nearly back! Had my accident Easter weekend, and the car was collected on the Tuesday after the bank holiday. Its been in the body shop all this time, and started to really miss it with all this nice weather. Well it should be back in my possesion by Wednesday, and just requires finishing off. Cant wait to have it back and get back to driving it.

You talking about fuses etc, a friend of mine works for Porsche, and he has said they have refused warranty claims on some cars with aftermarket bits on them, even if they are totally irrelivent to the claim! Watch out. lol
