  1. It's probably a bit further than I'd want to travel to be honest. Thanks anyway.
  2. Thanks pal. It will be useful when comparing quotes.
  3. Thanks for that. I'm in Brigg on Thursday (if the car makes it) so it may be worth a visit.
  4. Hi all, Can anyone recommend a garage in the Grimsby/Cleethorpes or even North East Lincolnshire area? I've got to have my clutch changed (parts coming from Clarke Sport/Zmanalex) and wondered if there's anyone out there that could recommend someone that's competitive, reliable etc. Thanks in advance.
  5. Ah well - there you go. I was taking the scenic route through the lakes: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/74472-the-highlands/.
  6. Hi all, Just to add to this I recently discovered a problem with the auto levelling sensor - namely that it was broken in half. I purchased one from zmanalex and attempted to fit it yesterday. I made a careful note of how it came off to aid fitting the new one but I couldn't help thinking something was amiss. Here's a photograph of the original part as discovered: Take note of the way the bracket is fitted that the arrow points to and compare it to the way Keyser's is fitted: The way mine is fitted is achievable by swivelling the bracket through 180 degrees but makes absolutely no sense as I think the right-angle pieces are there to keep the bracket in place and aligned. This looks like it may have been the cause of the breakage as it must put the linkage at an incorrect angle but I'm not sure why it was being replaced in the first place though. Makes you wonder about a car's history in the absence of detailed receipts. I'd ask someone to confirm that keyser's way of fitting the bracket is correct as opposed to the way I discovered mine but it seems fairly obvious that it is.

    The Highlands

The A832 is a fantastic stretch Will370z. I saw your posting SuperStu and I have to agree about the roads being the best. I've been up to Durness and Tongue in the past and also to Applecross but I'm not too keen on the single track roads in the zed - too much scraping as soon as you build up a bit of speed what with the bumps. Different experience in a Golf GTI though as it loved them. The zed more than makes up for it though on the higher speed stuff.

    The Highlands

Just returned from a trip to the Highlands visiting relatives and thought I'd post a few pictures. I'm not much of a photographer and used my phone but hopefully someone can gain inspiration from them. Fuel cost was approximately £300 but well worth it as the driving experience was amazing and I'd recommend it to anyone. 9. The A832 you pick up from just south of Ullapool is an awesome road. Just returned from a four day trip visiting my sister who lives in Drumbeg. Don't do much more than pop in for a coffee once I'm there but it's the getting there - and back. I'm on a downer now though after all that exhilarating driving.
  10. Driving back home from the Highlands via the Lakes on Friday at around 10am spotted a black 350z 54 plate on the A592 near Ullswater. I flashed him once and he returned the gesture by dabbing his brakes. Attempted to take a quick snap with my phone but as you can tell it's a little blurry:
  11. To be honest I haven't really looked at how to remove the part as yet. Do I try and remove the sensor if that's possible or is it a case of removing the brackets so I'm left with something like this: Depending on which do you provide just the sensor Zmanalex and it's a case of me reusing the existing brackets or will it come with the brackets as well? Thanks.
  12. That seems a bit harsh Chris`I. After all I think everyone's learnt something about handbrakes - let's try and look at the bigger picture here. If we can't do that then I suppose I'll have to admit that kbeast35 has had some interesting things to say on the topic
  13. If I get a replacement do you know if there's some kind of learning procedure that has to be done that I should be aware of or will it sort itself out automagically?
