  1. You could probably get some new brushes from Maplins for the motor, they would be fairly easy to replace if you are handy with as soldering iron.
  2. I have a 2003 manual for sale at the moment with 54000 miles on it, it won't be going for any less than £5200 though, fully serviced and needs nothing.
  3. You must sand & polish the plenums you sell for the love of doing it, at £95 on an exchange basis it is a fantastic price for the effort you have to put in to get a good finish. The item on Ebay was mine, I originally polished one for myself and then decided to do another and logged the hours put in. It took me just over 16 hours! At my standard hourly rate at work I should have charged around £296, as this was in my spare time it could have cost me a lot more as an overtime rate. It has sold for £142 so it works out to a similar price as yours as it cost me £40 to buy the plenum. I have one more to do but that is going to the powder coaters tomorrow Instead. My plenum polishing days are over.

    Polished plenum

Hi, Check in the members traders section, I am sure someone was advertising some on there. I have just polished one up for myself and I have two more on the go. They take a lot of hours to get all the marks out, if you can get one for under a £100 snap his hand off.
  5. Hi, I opened the tablet and removed the wires to the tablet on / off button and extended them with soldered connections and heat shrink. I then routed the wires down to the nav button unit. I stripped down the nav button unit down to the circuit board. Initially I wanted to use the round multi function button on the right hand side but it is not a true on off button as it still provides a resistive path when pressed. I used the TV button in the end by drilling through the circuit board with a tiny Dremmel drill bit either side of the switch terminals and soldering the extended wires to it. I used a multimeter to identify an ignition live supply from the nav button harness plug and stripped down the cigarette charger for the tablet. I soldered an inline 2amp fuse holder and soldered the wiring together. The tablet charges when the ignition is turned on.
  6. I have just fitted a 7" sat nav tablet which replaced my jap nav screen. It fits really well, I have used one of the original nav buttons as an on / off switch for the tablet and hard wired the 12v supply into the nav button harness.

  8. Hi Rob, I will keep a look out for you, I am in the Grimsby / Cleethorpes area.
  9. I live in the Cleethorpes / Grimsby area, I have seen a blue azure and a Silverstone grey in the area up to now.
  10. Hi guys & gals, I thought it was about time I Introduced myself as I have been using this great forum for a couple of months now. I bought a Silverstone Grey Zed about four months ago after a long list if Subaru Sti, Wrx classics, a newage Sti & an Evo IV. It has been about 15 years since I have owned a non turbo. I was not sure what to expect from the Zed in terms of its handling, power delivery and braking and I have been pleasantly surprised! The power delivery is great as is the handling and braking. My Zed is a 2003 import, the Only modification I have carried out up to now is a stainless cat back system which sounds lovely, I am planning on fitting some Rays when I can find some for the right price and some other tasteful modifications over the coming months. Thanks, Lee.
  11. Hi, Is your Scorpion system going to be for sale? Thanks, Lee.
