He really is one of the nicest drivers going, and is so down to earth, and just because he GF isnt at the races all the time, and he keeps his private life private, and is he own person, and not a media slag, dont mean he is an arse.

Im sorry, but if you knew anything about F1 drivers, you would know that Seb is probably one of the most down to earth drivers going, As for arrogance, ALL F1 drivers are arrogant, they have to believe they are best on the grid. Not a racer? You one of these people that thinks SV cant overtake, i think he has proved that 10x over.

Why do you say that? The guy is 26, and is on the brink of getting a 4th consecutive title, he is breaking records nearly every other week, so what is there not to respect?

I understand what you are saying, Im just asking if not having the flexi joints puts more pressure on things like the headers thats all, as they are the only bit that is fixed, as they are bolted to the engine. Maybe there is enough movement in the bushes.

Does someone make a Y pipe with a cat in it?

The engine rocks backwards and forwards too under acceleration and backing off surely. Not saying your wrong, just my view that nobody else sells a Y pipe that is solid, all the others have flexi joint,which makes manufacturing them harder, and more expensive than having some bent pipes welded up. Open to being wrong obviously. Im sure the Stillen is very well made, but dont know why its as expensive as others when it appears to be cheaper to make.

My view on them, is that the flexi's are there to help with engine rocking and movement of everything. Surely if you keep everything rigid, there is more chance of things breaking.

Well I found out yesterday that my cats and my Y pipe have had it, so need replacing. Wondering if its possible to get new standards cats, or if everyone just goes down the HFC route? Also wondering what the general concensus on what Y pipes are good. I currently run a Scorpion unresonated exhaust. Dont like the look of the Stillen, as they dont seem to have any flexi joints, which I cant see as being a good thing, but happy to be told otherwise. Didnt know if anyone was planning of selling anything, or any traders had specials on. My car currently sounds like a bag of spanners, so need to get this sorted this week.

Iv got a pair of Prada polairsed ones that I really lke, however, when i first got the, my now wife thought they were for her! lol Great sunglasses though.

Will you be going to a race this year Daryl ? No, i opted out of travelling at the start of the year. A little gutted, as was going to do Monaco, Singapore, Germany and a couple of others, and I would have met The Hoff atleast once. There is always next year. lol

Wow what a race, great result for one car, worst case for other car. Only a week to go till Japan, so its going to be a busy week for the guys to get that rebuilt, if its even possible. Possible spare tub job. After the last fire we had to replace lots of parts, and now after another, getting parts out there should be interesting. Great drive by The Hulk, he really does deserve a top team and top car, and maybe just did what he needed to to get that.

On a side note, does anyone know what size threat is in the end of the hangers for a Scorpion exhaust. Mine wants to move a fair bit, and i think putting a bolt and washer in the end would stop this

I use this, and really rate it, plus a bottle lasts for ages. I wipe it on with the corner of a MF cloth, then mop up any runs/drips after iv done all 4. Not expensive either. I use this over stuff I can get for free,Autosmart spray stuff

Im glad Martin had the guts on the podium to say to people to stop boo'ing, as its really not on. Seb cant win either way (unless its on track). I think he is handling the situation very well, the chat with Ted Kravitz in the car showed how much hes grown up recently, he has had to. Having a small amount of personal contact with the guy, I have to say he is very nice, very appreciative and very down to earth, most of the drivers are on the circus. Yes, he is very determined, but he shouldnt be doing what he is doing if he wasnt, so you cant fault him for that. Even if it does cause friction. To be honest, i think the whole scene with Webber got off to a bad start before Seb was even in Red Bull, remember him going up the back of Mark in Japan 2007 in the wet? I hope Mark can get atleast one more win to his name before the end of the season, as he does deserve it.

Is it a complete front arm that is required for these to be replaced then Alex? No pushing it out and replacing? Also, can I reuse my Superpro bannana arm bushes that were installed a couple of years ago?
