  1. That's bad. And not bad as in street jive bad meaning good, just bad!
  2. Uprev is basically software for tuning the standard ECU. Abbey Motorsport and RS Tuning and (I think) Advanced Motorsport all offer this. Have a look here http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=114 and here http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=131 for some more info
  3. Just remember you're never going to get big top end gains from a NA engine. It's not all about the top end numbers though, it's more about improving the feel of the car and smoothing out the power low down which greatly improves drivability.
  4. Correct Yes you can, but it's best to get one that still uses the standard plastic MAF housing
  5. Plenum spacer and a decent panel filter are good modifications, but you'll really need to get an Uprev tune to get the best out of them. Tuning the ECU is the best way to improve performance.
  6. for power if you want something that will lose you power but sound cool, something like a pop charger would suit best. Definitely don't want to lose power.... Do pop chargers not help the performance then? Nope. Standard airbox with a performance filter is the best for power
  7. You should inform insurers of absolutely any and every modification. Premiums may or may not go up depending on the company. When I was with Direct Line, modifying anything, no matter how small would have put my premium up by what I considered an unreasonable amount. I'm with Adrian Flux now and they are much more mod friendly. I had to pay a little extra when I had my spacer, MREV2 and Uprev done, but it was fairly minimal really. Personally I don't think it's worth the risk of not informing the insurers of mods. If you need to make a claim you don't want to give them any excuse to not pay out!
  8. Found this not so long ago http://www.fourproducts.com/FSBC.htm Might be of some use
  9. As per my pm, I'll take the carbon strut brace if you decide to split
  10. Have a look here http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=30 but you'll need deep pockets.
  11. Wowzers, that is hella low Looks awesome though. That Chargespeed rear really suits yellow
  12. Looks like you got a sweet deal, although I'd be a bit concerned about running 437bhp if it's on standard internals If it were me I'd be tempted to take it to Abbey Motorsports and get it tuned from scratch using Uprev, then you'd know all was well.
  13. That's cool with me, can't wait to see the results
  14. Wow, quite a transformation you're planning! Not a fan of Veilside myself but it's your car so do what feels right for you. However, I think that 2 tone look with carbon looks absolutely awesome in you pic!! Can't wait to see how this progresses
  15. Received the carbon battery and brake surrounds today. Really pleased with them. Thanks for the swift delivery
  16. Loving your work! The bodykit and graphics look awesome
  17. Looks like he's gone for full Gulf team colours just like a Ford GT40
  18. Out of interest, what's wrong with the K-Sport BBK? Nothing is wrong with them, just its like having a full 5 course black tie meal starting with cavear, having lobster, Moet and Dom Perignon etc and then slapping a tin of this for desert. If there's nothing wrong with them then what's the problem? Would they be better if they cost twice as much
  19. Out of interest, what's wrong with the K-Sport BBK?
  20. Simple answer, YES. If you want to switch tyre brands then why not just get some used rear Bridgestones for now. By the time they've worn down again it'll probably be about time to change the fronts at which point you can get 4 brand new Tyres of your choice.
  21. That looks great! Really nice and subtle, almost OEM
  22. Adrian Flux have always been good for me, and they specialise in imports and modified cars.
  23. So much fail, I don't even know where to start on that
