Braided brake lines such as the HEL kit should help improve brake feel. As Chris said though, I don't think EBC's are really intended for track use so a disc and pad upgrade would probably give more of a noticible difference in braking.

Might be worth a pm to Greekman, I pretty sure he's done the Uprev tune on a HR engine. Can't remember what other mods he has but I seem to remember him ending up with about 340bhp! If you're going for performance I'd stick with the standard air intakes and get some decent panel filters.

I don't think most 296 engines have any problems with oil consumption, mine certainly doesn't. I believe there were a few reported cases, but I certainly wouldn't say most have problems.

That's the stuff I use which was recommended to me by Opie Oils. No complaints from me at all, it's a very good quality fully synthetic. I think they've just changed the brand name of Silkoline, but I can't remember what it's called now
