  1. If you're thinking of doing any track days then I'd personally save them for that. 040's will perform much better on track than on the road
  2. Looks a lot like the new McClaren If it drives well and is a good price it could be really interesting.
  3. Just be aware that you can only use the Dixel pads with Dixel discs, so if you want to use them (and I've only ever heard good things about Dixel) then you'll need to replace your discs and pads.
  4. Might be worth a PM to MWTech if you're after ChargeSpeed stuff http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=140&t=33965
  5. Braided brake lines such as the HEL kit should help improve brake feel. As Chris said though, I don't think EBC's are really intended for track use so a disc and pad upgrade would probably give more of a noticible difference in braking.
  6. I've taken mine out. No tyre in a can though, that's what the AA are for
  7. Have a look through the member taders section for examples
  8. Just seen these if anyone is interested http://shop.ebay.co.uk/subaru-heavan/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340
  9. Hey, just came across this and thought it may be of interest http://www.fourproducts.com/FSBC.htm
  10. Might be worth a pm to Greekman, I pretty sure he's done the Uprev tune on a HR engine. Can't remember what other mods he has but I seem to remember him ending up with about 340bhp! If you're going for performance I'd stick with the standard air intakes and get some decent panel filters.
  11. I don't think most 296 engines have any problems with oil consumption, mine certainly doesn't. I believe there were a few reported cases, but I certainly wouldn't say most have problems.
  12. I used Lockwood & Greenwood in Manchester recently for a service and MOT. Very pleased with them. They even gave me a discount for being a member here . http://www.lockwoodandgreenwood.co.uk/7392/lockwood.htm
  13. Do you have anything for a facelift bumper?
  14. Which lips do you sell Sarah? Might be looking for one soon
  15. Might be worth calling EP Racing to confirm. I'll be after a CF splitter for a 296 facelift bumper soon which I assume is the same bumper you have on your 313 HR?
  16. Don't the standard replica's from EP Racing fit the 313? http://www.epracing.co.uk/Carbon-Accessories/Nissan/350Z/350Z-VS-Style-Carbon-Front-Lip/p-75-122-123-2449/
  17. That Tigra belongs to one of the guys at RS Tuning, saw it there when I had my Uprev tune done
  18. Don't think you need to go as far as giving him a massage I'm sure a friendly PM will do
  19. You could always use it as an excuse to upgrade to these http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=28634&p=505548&hilit=titanium+brake+shims#p505548 Not sure how much standard shims are but I'm sure ZMANALEX could supply them too if you don't want to go for the titanium.
  20. I went for one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HKS-REPLACEMENT-PANEL-FILTER-NISSAN-FAIRLADY-Z-350Z-/280509276284?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item414fa7e07c Cosworth filters are also popular.
  21. Sounds good to me 1. Lincolnbaggie 2. Shire350z 3. Chesterfield 4. Introspect 5.
  22. Have a look here http://www.lockwoodandgreenwood.co.uk/7392/lockwood.htm They do a discount for being a member on here too
  23. Had a P1 and an MOT done yesterday at Lockwood & Greenwood in Manchester and I can highly recommend them. Very friendly and helpful, gave me a free courtesy car and they seem to know they're stuff too! They even adjusted my handbrake without me having to ask! Altogether a top service and at a really good price, highly recommended
