    Potholes

hmm need one of them over here!!!
  2. Welcome, nice looking Z... black is such a nice colour once you keep it clean and waxed! Keep the SAAB 900! http://www.youtube.com/user/hakanhell#p ... 1UQxI5ZUSU then again they are the old ones, here is a newer one:
  3. You want blue go for blue... I'd look around though and get an 07 if you can afford it (bulge hood) if not wait around for GT car 05 that you love to get away from the lower bracket of tax. (its feck all tax that you guys are talking about but hey money is money, can go to mods instead ) a
  4. ...and the motec and the flyby wire throttle body, nice and quick responsive! with standard engine internals he's talking about pistons and rods btw...
  5. I'll send you my map and you can look at that too
  6. Where is the rpm's on each column? Confusing looking to me
  7. the uprev tune wouldnt have changed that much on the fueling would it? You guys probably use different type of octane levels in your fuels too? game over for me anyway, tuner please take over
  8. I would've thought it more likely that the Fuel Map contains millisecond (ms) values which determine how long the injector is held open. Bigger injectors, more fuel flows in a given time (number of ms). Not sure how you'd work out how much had flowed by another method - what sensor would be used? SplitSec box worked on ms values anyhow, that's for sure not sure if they open full every time or if you can adjust that... I saw on the haltech ecu you can change the direction of the spray if that makes any sense to anyone? gonna have a look and see if its time only...so the bigger the hole the more volume...
  9. not sure if it differs or if previous owner changed mine but got bi xenon on a 03 JDM one. Mine also. makes the JDM so much cooler to own...
  10. Go to Abbey then? Something about them not being able to 'live tune it' ? mmm to be honest be 100% confident before you hand it over nurrish...
  11. Wouldn't mind that really, with rolling road you still mean it's a dyno? (no frecking road driving right?) Will you be there or drop it there and leave? I found that it was 'better' for my own head to be there and see what they where up to I'm a bit confused though, the injectors are only there to be able to pump enough fuel in to the car... the fuel map will be for X ammount at a certain time, nothing to do with 600cc injectors... is your car fitted with a fuel return system? (thought you needed that when you upgraded the injectors) mmm make sure it's not to much boost on it at first and take it from there, if the fueling is ****ed compared to the timing you'll hear it detonating... and bring it back. Also noticed that a car behaves differently on a dyno then on the road so make sure to test it properly after you've got it tuned. What after care do you have on the tune? Soon time for it ain't it!
  12. I really want it Typicall...
  13. I think you should push it up to say.... 408 whp g'luck mate! Are they going through the whole map for you though or are they going to use the 400 as a base and then 'tweak' it as you say... not sure whats in the 'tweak' but I wouldn't be happy if "mr wizard" isn't sitting through the full power range looking (listening) for possible detonation and making sure it's all good on the timing side. Can you do that live on the UTEC? What rev limit are you going to set her to what boost is the map they got running? Think you need some tuner here to advice whats best
  14. not sure if it differs or if previous owner changed mine but got bi xenon on a 03 JDM one.

    100,000 miles

Thats mental mileage, have you gone through any more clutches? Have a question regarding rust, have you noticed it starting to rust underneath yet, guess you use it 12 months a year and would see some salty roads from time to time? Reason I ask is that under mine I've seen rust under the spare wheel on the underside of the car, just wondering if thats down to mileage or age or both. Well done keeping her
  16. Welcome, where are you located on this planet called earth? Are you into changing (modding) cars at all? If you are I'd try and find some older cheaper example and then plow in 2k into it to get it the way you want it, if you're not bothered about changing the car at all then go ahead and stretch as far as you can. (I'd go for 07+ car with bulge hood but don't think your budget is within that range) A
  17. Saves me checking tomorrow so
  18. No answer on the other thread I take it, if you can wait until tomorrow I can go out and take one of them out and give you a measure, Id bring it to a engineering place and just hand them the bolt and ask them if they do it in xxx mm, worked the last time I needed a bolt (amazing). Go past there from time to time so if you want me to pick you up 4 I could and post them. Possibly cheaper to sort out yourself yeah nothing on the other thread, got the impression no one was reading it. might be a plan, am happy to pay for them, haven't got anyone near me to take it to. and need the bolt in the engine so i can drive there also out of interest, how far do the bolts go into the plenum? i suppose if they are too long i can cut them down Cool, Ill have a look tomorrow. A
  19. hmm the kinetix plenum has the "spacer" built in so thats pretty expected result?
