    New Alloys :D

well done mate looks lovely. will the 20mm spacer 'fix' any offset issues? those would look sweet on my silver Z... don't dare ask what you paid for them mate!
  8. so you got the revup engine, reading around I don't think you'll gain any hp with a spacer fitted.
  9. +1 follow all the steps but dont turn the key to off position in the end, wait and read the blinks. you've got a lot of time so sit and wait. the first blinks will be very slow, thats the start of the code. so for instance 0002 would be 10 slow, 10 fast, 10 fast and 2 fast in the end.
  10. ,,,,,sorry vik? so jealous right now from watching that video! You must been able to go pretty fast on the start finish straight!!!
  11. +1 - a lot can be lost in text, like the context of what people are saying, speaking in person or on the phone will get you the details a lot quicker but then I can't read it... But he will have more time to write up the explaination he gets than Mark has true.... my bad

  15. maybe look here for some more stuff to plug into the engine, think Mark in Abbey will or is allready stocking these: http://www.motordyneengineering.com/350Z.php 350Z MREV 2 Manifold TM (depends what engine you got in your Z if it's any good to you) 350Z 1/2" Manifold Spacer Not sure if you need to upgrade your fuel line system and injectors if you're thinking on going NOS. 16. sweet lips Do you have any pre and after photos of them? (before refurb)
  17. superior combination... mmm think I rather have my A goodyear F1's then the newer type that has the inner tyre for wet and outer for dry weather... it's not going to perform as well as a tyre made for wet weather when its wet and it wont perform better then a dry type tyre in the dry... so you'll have a tyre that's average in both weather conditions... for me the most important is that it performs in the wet and for dry conditions you need to get a wider tyre (285) and you'll get more contact surface! WHEN I get my a** in gear to get new wheels I'll get as wide as I can in the rear for dry condition and the best wet tyre out there fitted to it. For track tool use I'd use the same wheels that I have now and go for a sticky rubber. *and they look cooler
  18. running good year f1s really like them but hard to get the size that I've got on my Z.
  19. lucky escape by the sounds of things, happy it turned out well! I'd recommend you to go and get some training done or some sort of handle practice done so if / when it happens again you can control it no problem. Personally don't use the ESP stuff since I rather want to be able to drive the car without the slip light coming on and behaving a bit more predictable, seems to happen when there is no need for it and my belief is that you get a false sense of security driving with it on.

    New Alloys :D

have you fitted these yet will look deadly fitted!!!
  21. Doesn't having it remapped remove the behaviour you are talking about though? My impression was that until it is remapped the ecu is a law unto itself, but once it's done it stays in "performance mode" all the time. Presumably this would mean that remapped cars can be put on the dyno and give a reliable figure with a single run. Now had an answer on another thread from Abby, and it seems that the Uprev basically deletes the ECUs ability to switch to the default maps (IE safe maps should heavy knock be encountered) which kind of worries me, it basically sticks to the more aggressive fuelling and timing maps to achieve the boost in performance, I would very much like to get hold of the software and see for myself just what parameters are actually available to modify/edit in the ECU. go get the osiris tuner software here http://www.uprev.com/products.php
