Wow! you're good! you can actually hear it has a lightweight flywheel Seriously though, it may well have but that is not all it takes to have a free revving motor, the cams will help but the stand alone engine management has the biggest influence on how it will behave, and it also has the std RPM limit raised. Hearing your remap holds the RPMs on closed throttle is not good, can't think of one reason why, are you sure you haven't got a problem with your throttle calibration? +1 on the end part of that, sounds like it's a TSI Golf behaviour!

the uprev tune wouldnt have changed that much on the fueling would it? You guys probably use different type of octane levels in your fuels too? game over for me anyway, tuner please take over

I would've thought it more likely that the Fuel Map contains millisecond (ms) values which determine how long the injector is held open. Bigger injectors, more fuel flows in a given time (number of ms). Not sure how you'd work out how much had flowed by another method - what sensor would be used? SplitSec box worked on ms values anyhow, that's for sure not sure if they open full every time or if you can adjust that... I saw on the haltech ecu you can change the direction of the spray if that makes any sense to anyone? gonna have a look and see if its time only...so the bigger the hole the more volume...

not sure if it differs or if previous owner changed mine but got bi xenon on a 03 JDM one. Mine also. makes the JDM so much cooler to own...
